1960s Multistorey Car Park and Bus Station
Constructed in the 1960s, this car park can accomodate hundreds of cars, helping to alleviate demand for parking spaces in the local streets. It also features a bus station underneath (some First Bus vehicles are included!) offering undercover space and a cafe for passengers to wait for their bus. The car park is finished in 'Beton Brut', a form of rough concrete and this building is very closely based on a part of 'The Tricorn', a recently demolished shopping centre/car park from Portsmouth, England.
