Hello everyone, I was wondering if there is already a mod that makes business deals more profitable, in that they increase the amount of money gained. At least increase it to a reasonable amount, and also related to the risk that comes with it. Would seem fair to me. Right now it seems like a useless trade-off. Probably spending more money fixes the negatives than getting anything at all out of it. Business deals should be good for either party, and from the base game it isn't at all. I did find this mod: but that to me is unrealistic and just like cheating. I don't know how to do it myself, or I would have created it. So if something like this does not yet exist, hereby I presented my request. Good day and blessings to you. - A fellow mayor

Hey all, I am currently playing on the Plantation Bay map by comdude21 which has a nice selection of coastline and I was thinking about making a casino boardwalk area in one of the regions. My major problem is I actually like to play the game and pretty much every casino I've come across is some variation of the money tree park. I don't mind if it gives like $80-$300 a month as it usually takes awhile to turn a profit post plop cost.... but the majority of the ones I can find are in the $25,000 to $1,000,000 range. I realize I could just use a landmark and pretend but I'm kind of OCD about wanting actual casinos for casinos. I already have a beautiful selection of hotels lined up and beach mods....does anyone know of which casinos are at least slightly more landmarkish and less simolean smelting factory?

Hey all. I am playing my great city and doing the electronics special gameplay. I have now come to the missions of getting massive profit. By that, selling 1.000.000 processors. How ever, i have 19 factories making them, and a bunch of depots to both sell them and import the stuff needed. But i am no where near the 1 million, in fact i only sell about 80.000 before the bar resets. So what can i do to make those processors sell faster ? As far as i can see i make about 125K processors a day, so it should not be a problem to sell 1million in my view!!

How to make money and massive income & profit | bug or feature Guide #6
perafilozof posted a topic in Cities: Skylines General Discussion
If you have low profit and income this video will explain to you how to increase both your income and your profits to insane levels. The solution is quite simple but it is also not very logical. So you can ask is it a bug or a feature? The mystery of low income and profit is solved when you start spending your bank balance. Once you spend most of your earned credits, money, cash, you will see an increase in your income across the RCI&O zones. Tax can be as low as 9% or as high as 13%. This video will show you how to earn massive profits in Cities: Skylines and how to keep your weekly income high. -
I've been trying to get all four business deals for maximum profit. I got the maximum security prison and the casino row easily enough. But now, nothing for years and years and years. I know the city has to be low on funds to get them, so every January (or within a few months of January) I spend the money down to below $1,000. When I hadn't gotten any new business deals (either the gigamall or the toxic waste disposal plant) for years, I started spending to below $100. Still nothing, and it's 1948 now. What should I try next?

I don't understand the industries DLC and budget window's profits
ScreaminAbdabs posted a topic in Cities: Skylines General Discussion
Hello, I am baffled. I have a large oil area in my city made up from the Industries DLC. On the oil overview window it is making C30K which breaks down as- -640 import +2,440 Petroleum +33,600 Plastics - upkeep 4,696 profit of 30,663 I understand this. However on the budget screen I get - Oil Income 2,400 expenses 6,104 Profit -3,704 I don't understand this! I don't have any zoned oil, just the DLC - so why are these so different? How can I make a profit of over 30k and a loss of around 3k from the same thing? What happened to that 30k profit? Anyone any ideas?- 5 Replies

Ep. 03 Making a profit
Architechnid posted a City Journal entry in Let's Play Cities: Skylines Jackson Hole, WY
I talk about how to make a profit with or without mods, I finish up setting up utilities, putting finer touches on the grid, zoning, and let the simulation run. I also install a nice Pedestrian / Bicycle path to get down from the hilltop. Video entry. -
Recently it was discovered that food companies sell products with ingridents of inferior quality to eastern europe countries compared to western europe countries. Quote: "Bulgarian Agriculture Minister Rumen Porozhanov said laboratory tests found different ingredients in seven of 31 food products sold in his country and in Austria and Germany. The experts also found 16 of the tested food items were sold at higher prices than in other EU countries."

Couldn't find this on any one post, but got some ideas already spread out amongst several posts I want more money! I haven't really specialized on anything yet except education (just so I don't have Homer SImpsons working in my nuclear power plants and hordes of criminals on the streets), but I'm not sure if education should even be a specialization. I haven't seem to have found a way to make money of of it yet, but anyways, whats the most lucrative specialization? I find my cities in the end-game phase to be slowly losing money (as I add more modules to services to keep up with demand) Is there something I can do to get more profit per hour rolling in?
