    Version 1.0

SM2 Oil Pipeline A Vol1 An oil pipeline set ready to serve all your industrial needs. Ortho quads and dual are featured in this collection. 90 bends, T's and cross for both quads and dual are also included. Also many single and dual tile bridges. There is also a quad pipe bridge able to span a maximum of 5 game tiles. The bridge can be used to span river crossings, ravines, highways, rails and even small lakes. This set was designed to be used on a flat surface. Also included is a texture set for the pipe path. Experiment a bit with the set to get a feel of it and then create your dream oil pipeline! Each piece costs 20 simoleons to plop No water or power required No monthly maintenance I decided to put the set under the Landmark menu so that you can benefit of a bit of positive landmark and mayor rating effect. This file contains the .obj, fbx, and textures for my pipeline asset. I hope that others can use this model to help unify styles and help align other modular buildings for other refinery assets as a part of the SimtropOils refinery project. If you do use any of the textures or meshes in whole or in part, I would love to see it - please make a post in our project thread here:

    Version 2.0.0

    2,607 Downloads

Ever since I started downloading new content I always wondered if there was a complete set of pipes to use when designing a realistic city map and always fell short on finding one, well no more, because this is, as far as I now, the most complete set of surface pipes in SC4 ever. With a total of 36 pieces, this set, was made to satisfy even the most demanding of players. Bridges over rails, roads, streets, avenues, highways, ravines and even rivers as wide as 6 tiles. Curves, diagonals, pump houses, in ground, valves and elevation transitions, making this the perfect set for all your projects. All bridges are overhanging therefore you can have any network you wish, run under them with no issues at all. I call them SM2 Aqueduct (Water pipes) they are 2 meters in diameter with no markings, therefore you can use them for whatever industry you like, natural gas, water, oil etc. making them very flexible. All 36 pieces were carefully made to match, they are also super MMP friendly and have no base textures. Only one piece will show the dreaded water bug and that is the one with a single rail overlay piece. Just click on the zone button on and off and it will go away. The rest of the pieces are "water bug free" Only one piece will require electricity, the rail piece. The rest are neutral lots with a slight park effect. I also made an MML lot however as you already know MML's have that annoying issue of having to pluck lots off the lineup every time you plop it thus making multiple plops a tedious affair. You will have the choice to use it or not. Alternatively you could make a DAMN menu and resolve the issue once and for all. No cost to plop, bulldoze or maintain, easy on the wallet, easy on the eye. You will find all lots in the park menu and the MML, if you wish to use it, will be in the landmark menu. I made the MML as a separate download, if you are going to use it, please place the file in your plugin's root. Usage. Make sure you flatten the pipe path for perfect connections. The river/land spans lots are based on the 15 meter rule (height) that means that if you start at sea level you can go up to any elevation but in 15 meters increments. The land bridges work best on flat surface. The river pylons can be placed on water deeper than 15 meters but no less than. So if you place a river or land span your must plop the bridge on a 15 meter elevation in order to have a seamless pylon to bridge connection. The possible combinations you can achieve are enormous, your imagination is your limit! Please refer to the included pics for more details. For even more pics, please browse my thread at this link https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/index.php?topic=17211.620 NO DEPENDENCIES! Simmer2 PS. the rail piece is also compatible with vanilla Maxis rails.
  7. Pipeline Set AddOn Version

    Version 2

    6,560 Downloads

Pipeline-Set - Add-On-Version V2.2 (Fixxed Crash-Problem!!!) With this set, you get the possibility of building your own pipeline through your map. Connect your raffineries or industrial areas with each other or make a connection with your seaport. The possibilities are huge and with your phantasy it's easy for you to find an application area. The add-on-set contains 9 tiles and can be found in the seaport-menu (i think it's the only menu, you can take it in). Contents: - 1x1 ending piece of the pump house - 1x3 construction yard - 1x2 big bridge (visual size is 1x7) - 1x1 small bridge (visual size is 1x1.5) - 2x3 tank farm - 2x1 pump house - 2x6 fluid filling station (with ship) - 2x6 fluid filling station (without ship) - 1x3 beginning of a tunnel All tiles don't have monthly costs! The plopcost is between 10§ and 500§ and the cost for destroying are between 25§ and 1000§! Next the pipeline doesn't make the air or the water dirty and doesn't create rubbish. That is indeed not very realistic, but you have to see: It's actually only something for your eyes, to make an industrial area more realistic-looking. But: Be careful: The pipeline is extremely flammable! One spark an the pipeline burns. So: Always look for many firestations. And the best of all: There are NO dependencies!!! Just download it and have fun. Installation: Just extract the folder into your pluginfolder (mainly under C:\documents and settings\USER\my documents\SimCity 4\plugins\) and you can find this set in the middle of the seaport-menu. To delete this set, only delete this folder in your plugin folder. HerbSt

The Rising Sun Oil company has chosen your region to be the site of its new refinery complex, and now it needs a way to transport that oil across the region and to your SimCity. This pipeline system is the perfect way to accomplish that goal. This new style is much more well-suited to urban cities and downtown areas. As such, make sure you have Deadwoods' Prop Pack (link). For the rural style only, you will need the Longfellow Castle prop set available at the official SimCity 4 homepage if you want to see the perimeter fences. There are two ZIP files inside the main ZIP, one for the rural style, and one for the new, revised urban one. Pick whichever suits your cities best, or both if you choose. In addition, there is the dependencies file mentioned above, and a DAT for the model and description files, and a DAT for the UI and it's corresponding images. That's about all ... we debugged the lots before releasing them this time, and an update to the originals will be available shortly to fix the discovered issues. -Decius and Equinox, Rising Sun Oil CEO and VP
