I’m making a city in Minecraft 1.17 inspired by Hugh Ferriss’s Metropolis of Tomorrow. I took some liberties and made it a square (120x120 zones, 48 wide avenues, 7x7 city blocks) grid. https://imgur.com/a/abfiaQQ City Hall is based off SimCity 4’s unused Large City Hall, with SimCity 2013’s coloration. The Science Skyscraper is based off Le Corbusier’s Towers in the Park but with the park on top of a podium, and an added central tower. The Industry Skyscraper was modified from a 1:1 scale model of the Empire State Building, with some floors removed and the podium redone. The Art Hotel is based off SimCity 4’s Long Building but extended into a symmetric 116x116 structure with 2 internal court yards. The Art Skyscraper will be Neo Gothic, perhaps inspired by the Tribune Tower or Woolworth Building. The Science Lofts will be based off an illustration by Hugh Ferriss. I’m not sure about the Industrial Arts Condominium (maybe Bauhaus, maybe Art Deco, maybe something else) but the Industrial Science’s Apartments will be based off Le Corbusier’s Cellular Apartments.

Hello, My school balance is about Rp300,000 ($20). I like sandbox and city building genre, so I want to buy Minecraft and SimCity 4. For Minecraft, because in my country there's no official way to buy the game other than credit card, the pricing on one of trusted seller Unipin is about 480,000 Unipin Credits, or about Rp500,000 ($33). For SimCity 4, it's about Rp136,000 ($10). I have a question: what game should I buy first for now? Thanks.

Hello, February 2016 is my month to join a Minecraft server, Azalel Nation. Yes, it's an Indonesian server with good uptime (~90%). In my first days, players are nice and friendly to me. But, after I give some gameplay advices, some players becoming hate to me. It sounds crazy but it isn't all true, because I almost spam (but I never committed spam intentionally) the chat. This is becoming stronger as I'm applying as a helper in the server. Yes, unlike Simtropolis etc, they are "democratic" so recruit players using an application (the reason I quoted democratic because they don't have voting, they only selected by the owner/co-owner with some opinions and considerations). And, my first app is failed due to some reasons: I don't have vision to be a staff My behavior is commented by others My "flying time" (active time) is little Bad time management I'm not giving up. But, because I'm had childish behavior (some of this is remained in this day) or the community nature, I am becoming kind of angry when criticized by one of the staff, @SiKece (this may not a valid mention in Simtropolis) and created a topic called Pertimbangan Kembali (Reconsideration) around the site recovery (the site hacked in August 2016 and Sladey becoming webmaster to switch to new instance). The topic becoming hot and locked by the webmaster (@Sladey) After that, I created another topic named Disclaimer. Of course, the topic is created to disclaim staff opinions. Again, the topic becoming hot and staffs giving their opinions. The topic is closed again by @SiKece. But, I don't give up, again. In late 2016, I created a new application with updated info but it's blacklisted without any reason, maybe due to my topics. Again, I created a new app on December 2016, but it's rejected due to my staff app blacklist. In the end, I had given trial as a helper by @Silver750 (co-owner) for 30 days. But, due to reasons, my trial is failed. I created a new app but rejected due to "after the trial". After that, I becoming hated and I becoming disturbed by them, for instance, my avatar is vandalized by a member. So, in late 2017, I'm considered to change my active ID to other but rejected. After that, I'm fled from the community to ST and SC4D. Of course, my situation becoming better. I experienced (till this day) a good and not childish staff. Lessons: don't give unnecessary advices, better to be efficient but transparent, good time management and recommended to not use your real avatar on forums, especially undemocratic ones. You can access my profile for proofs. Don't forget to be translated by Google Translate or Indonesian forum users. Thanks.

Did you ever wonder what the inside of the arcologies could look like in SimCity 2000? These YouTube videos shows what could be the interior of the Plymouth Arcology. Exterior in Minecraft Interior in Minecraft I did not make these videos. There are many Minecraft versions of SC2K arcologies but this one seems to have a lot of work into it, right down to the apartments, gardens, service areas, maintenance, and plumbing. When I was a kid playing SimCity 2000, I always wondered what the inside of those arcologies could be like.

Hello guys, I have been working on a city the last year. It's called Rave City. There has not been much activity lately, but I could bring it back to life if you like it. Please tell me what you think about it. This video is not totally up to date. I have made a few more buildings since the making of this video, but it's just to give you an idea of how it looks like. I hope you like it.

So I just stumbled over this "little" (as in massive) Kickstarter project called 7 Days to Die. In Short, it's your everyday zombie-appocalypse-survival game multiplied by RPG-ish elements times Minecraft plus a bit of a topping of other games like FPS and tower defense and also multiplayer. You can say the basic idea is a minecraft-like game with all there is to it, from exploring over building to crafting (5x5 patterns but luckily including recipes from the getgo), but with a nice addition: physics. No floating blocks. oh speaking of blocks, it's not blocks but a more realistic (yet comic) approach to the environment. as for the world, it's a near-future post-WW3 wasteland called Navizgane, somewhere in Arizona when playing the story mode, but you can also create your own world in creative mode. then come the RPG skills like you would expect it from an RPG. several class-trees you can follow up on, improving your skills further on the related field. and of course the zombies. nuff said. best thing to do is barricade you're hideout the classic tower-defense way with traps over traps over traps. Here's the Kickstarter promotional video and I must say, for an early alpha version I really really really like what I see and definitely gonna follow the development as I'm looking forward to just something like that.
