Great CJ! I've noticed that you have the Mediterranean Buildings mod thing in (which I am also trying to use) but how have you got all your buildings to be like that as I'm struggling to get even one building to pop up - is there any tips you could give me please?

Well, hope you have had a great start to the New Year and I welcome you to the new metro System of the City. Well, its not all complete yet but will bring the Masses to the centre of an amazing city. So, I'll cut my main chatter here and lets make a start! Your Mayor of MCBC Jan Who remembers the old Subway Map. it had two subway lines: St Welhburg and the City Line. Well, if you can't remember it, lets now have a new look! Well, if you thought that was complicated, you now need to see the new metro system map! This new system has been a great peice of engineering to work on. A lot more Stations and even a new introduction to the system can occur. We have all of our new lines, which cost a total of over $32 Billion to construct. That isn't all though. Because of it being such a hefty project, we still have a lot to do! Our old city line has been renamed and all our routes now have route numbers. The serive also serves most of the City and a new loop around St. Welhburg on the Central City will mean even better services! Well, shall we take a look at what work we have done? Royal Square Station in the Centre of the City seems to become a Hub. All but one of the lines passes through this station and many start from here. There is over 10 platforms for all services so it has became the Baker Street of Fango City. Another new concourse has set the station into becoming the Intermodel Hub with more types of Transit to follow. Each of the new lines has it's own Seperate Stair Cases with a lower Concourse for quicker interchanges below Howardsend Will become a Terminus for the Royal Square and District line (Howardsend Branch). Many of the New Services will be able to bring up commuters coming from this district to the Centre by nearly 2000% (predicted by the District Council of Howardsend) Our New lines are now electified bringing better, ecofriendly and more efficient services around the City. Services from the Centre to Nonatown will bring new fortune to the city, Making the best out of its population. Nonatown is one of the Founding Cities of FANGO and brings major development to the other districts. Our looped end lines means no need to keep changing driver ends and means a more efficent service can operate. Another Route to Osktown will also mean that the service can run more efficiently with masses of passengers. Both the Nonatown and Osktown lines will run together (Much like the Hammersmith and City / Circle Lines in London). These signs are made Clear so that we can keep our arriving and Departing Passengers Seperate. We don't want conjestion on the Staircases. Platforms A and B are used in order to Keep people from being confused by the Route Numbers. Our district line is the first proper subway line on the Network and is based upon the Wirral Line found in Liverpool City Area up until Birkenhead. It is a proper rounded tunnel - also known as a Deep tunnel Line. The District line, because of its split route, has another Concourse to keep the platform free of waiting passengers. It splits into two halfs and is the deepest of the lines. Keeping Passengers Informed of where the Services Operate to! The Tunnel again is electrified. Have you noticed the Rouned tunnel area? Well, that was a quick look into what work has been done on the New Network. I hope to see you again soon but I have two loverly images to leave you with. Hope to see you again soon! (Please note, many of these images were taken on 1.8.1 beta before stair blocks could be placed on there side or in another way, shape or form. Therefore, the rounding was done to the ability shown by the software)

I can confirm it is not browser related. The chat icon looks like this right now for me: Although I've noticed a pattern: -When the chat icon is empty, I cannot enter chat. -When that icon has a '0' on it, you might be able to enter. -When the icon has 1 or more on it, you are usually able to enter. EDIT: Got into chat when the icon looked like this: I've had the same but it always lets me onto chat with the 0. or blank (which it is now) I wouldn't have a clue what to do other than check to see if flash is up to date Best Wishes Jan

Well done - you deserve it

I would like to request the idea of Tram lines on One-Way Streets (this happens a lot in UK including Croydon and Nottingham) and also Metre Gauge tracking for railways - what you would commonly get on Smaller Railway Networks. I hope you will at least consider the idea's. Thanks

Rugeley123's Official B.A.T. Thread

Thanks for the comment - I'l make the ammendments once I get a chance (but it won't be until at least the 19th August because I am away - I'll have a look at the file and all the measurements were correct according to the Plan. The car-park however can be rectified or I can make some changes if need be to a smaller size of parking-lot. I could also add a Motorbike lot if need be because the sizes don't measure up correctly - Thanks again -

Yes - The excuse is that I will be working up the model to improve the look in 3ds max and the textures so It will look the best it can - and also I had done most of the texturing by then -
Well - I'm setting up a Bat Thread for me to know what to work on and for you to see my work, comment, criticise (Please - only constructive criticism . ) and add suggestions on what I should make next. I will be working on Shops, Hotels, Essientials Packs (they will be needed), Transportation, Homes and a Chicago City Idea so they are the ones I will be focusing on the most. However, if you have any special suggestions that are not in any of these catagories, feel free to contact me and I'll do my best to do what you would like. Anyway, enough of me talking (or I'll be here for ever ). ) and lets get on with my B.A.T. thread. My first Official BAT: This is my first official Bat. I have decided to add some images here and some feedback role in for the next 72hrs before I make ammendments and then Lot it before Publishing. I'll put some information about the Bat below the image. Name: Pear Tree Shops Pack Location: Pear Tree Estate, Rugeley, Staffordshire, UK Contains: One Empty Shop Domino's Pizza Take-Away Co-Operative Food Small Supermarket Well, this BAT here is a few small shops (and a car park added in because I wanted it to look this way) on the Pairtree Estate, Rugeley, Staffordshire, UK. I decided that these few shops would be a good idea do as a First BAT as they are small yet effective and feature a small Supermarket - the Co-operative. I have noticed that on both the LEX and STEX that there is not many British Supermarkets on here so I decided that I would try and bring up the numbers with these small shops. As you can see, on the left hand side of the front area of the shops (thats with the carpark in the foreground (second section down on the image) there is a Domino's Pizza Take-away shop. Rugeley is the town that according to the local newspapers has the most pubs and take-aways per square mile than any other City, Town or Village in the UK. This domino's pizza house opened in Early May, when I was already over half way making this BAT. On the right of that section of the small stores is an empty shop of which still hasn't been taken up yet as far as I know. On the right of the empty shop (or on the right of the building) is the Co-Operative - the Supermarket. Now, this for a British Supermarket is Pretty Small and Rugeley has 2 Main supermarkets and 4 large supermarkets overall. Morrisons and Aldi are the Biggest, there also being an Iceland (about 200 yards away from Morrisons) and the Co-Operative on the Springfields (which is a normal sized supermarket to British Standards). If you look at the bottom of the full image (the ones with the coloured boards on) we have some adverts of which one is for Domino's and the other is for The Co-Op. If you go back some years to the proper peartree (or look on google Street view i think) you should see a Pub - The Pear Tree - that is on the sight of these shops. You may also see that these shops and my BAT look a lot different - and there is 2 reasons for that. The Pear Tree is an Estate on a Steep hill of which the shops are also on. SC4 will not allow Buildings to be on such a slope, I had to add the Carpark manually in order for it to look correct. This also meant that the steps had to be repositioned in order for the file to look realistic. Another reason I made the BAT different to the actual shop is that when they were making the shop, the plans they had made had to be forgotten about because the council (being the Cannock Chase council) decided that they would allow the shop of that size and then half way through the building process, they denined it. As it would cost the council to take the company building the shops to court, they told them to forget the plans and build the shops as quickly as possible because they were then running over a month off schedule and the Co-Op would stop all payments if they could not open the shop in time. Therefore, the shop was made smaller. In my BAT, the Shop has been made off the plans of there only being two stores of which changed after my bat was mostly complete (before texturing) and then I added a smaller shop in but didn't extend the actual building. This is the Image of the Pear Tree Pub before it was demolished: Thanks and please feed back to me Jan (who is normally in Chat)
