So, I've been yearning for a very long while to have London's The Gherkin (30 St Mary Axe) in my city. Now I have scoured Simtropolis up and down. I know it exists, somewhere, probably not on Simtropolis, but could someone point me in the right direction? And I was wondering if someone was thinking of modeling London's new skyscraper, The Shard, it looks lovely, and/or Saudi Arabias Kingdom Tower, that new supertall, that will be taller than the Burj Kalifa? :3 PS - I dunno if there's a thread like this in existence already so if there is, I'm sorry! But if not, then hey all those who can't find a building they want the can post here and the more knowledgeable of the community can help us young naive members! :3
NMUSpidey, on , said: Hong Kong is so impressive, those apartment towers are just incredible. But I've lived in Osaka and Tokyo and I do not think I'll ever be tempted to move to another place like that again. Visit, however, oh YES. Yes, as much as I love Tokyo and Osaka, it would drive me mad, but Hong Kong maybe less, some places in the new territories are much calmer than Tokyo for example, I also think Hong Kong has more and closer than Tokyo, if you are in central Tokyo you need to do a really long way to see the nature, or a park, in Hong Kong it's isn't that much the case, personally Hong Kong would win immediately for me , let's not forget language wise it's easier too
Let's not forget Tokyo is 35 million, and Hong Kong is only, what 7 million? As a tourist to both these cities, from what I saw Tokyo and Hong Kong differ and have similarities. As for the nature aspect, I agree wholeheartedly that Hong Kong is better, but Tokyo has these 'ecozones' When I visited I stayed near one, so Tokyo hasn't forgotten about it's nature, but Kong Kong with Victoria peak is the clear winner here. And from what I experienced, neither city has many traffic problems, alas I could be wrong there, but the streets and metro alike functioned smoothly and efficiently.

sounds like a similar project Canada did in the early 1900's only it was railroad to connect BC to the rest of Canada at the time because they wanted to jjoin but had to go through British territory. There's my history lesson for this evening -
SimCity: Wishlists
iMetropolis replied to VeritaScientia's topic in SimCity (2013) General Discussion
I would like to see: - more than just city building (ie. resources like coal, oil, precious metals/stones) -weather!!!!!!!!! not just tornadoes and earthquakes, hurricanes, regular rain, snow, blizzards, sand storms -climates! desert, tundra tropical etc. -road styles (euro, north american, british/hong kong, and dirst roads) -like CitiesXL and SimCity 4 to some degree building styles ultra modern, retro modern (jetsons and 50's style futuristic) -parks must have preset and customizable ones -
The images might look good... What you must do to them is host them on an image-hosting website, for example imageshack.com, flickr.com, photobucket.com, imgur.com, and then post direct links to them here. Then we can see the full size pictures in all their glory without having to click each one individually. Also, you are not limited in attachment size, so updates can use big pictures with as many images as you want, although be reasonable !
thanks for the tip! I'm a bit of a $%&^! I guess you could say, I want to see if I have a decent ability to do CJ's. I'm not the most computer savvy person, especially for my age (damn I sould old when I say that)

Welcome to the country of Cagliari. Cagliari is small series of 3 main islands with a mostly urban population of approximately 1.1 million. Today we fly into the country here are some pictures of the country before touching down in Bridgeport.
use more custom content... (are you italian?)
If I added anymore my computer would crash when I turned on my computer. I have a fair bit of custom buildings in the cities, that I will show eventually (this is my first CJ). I do have NAM and NWM, but trust me if I could download more I totally would. Yes I am Italian, but I'm not from Italy. =D
