  1. Just wanted to pop in and say I am really enjoying your buildings. I especially like the HuCo buildings since there is a main "headquarters" building and smaller branch offices I can put in other cities. I think that is a neat idea and helps make my regions feel more realistic and legit. Hopefully you do more like this and that it catches on with other BATers. Anyway, kudos on your work. Look forward to seeing more from you!
  2. Zurich Insurance

Fantastic work from you, as always.  I especially like this type of building as these midrise/small highrise buildings are few and far between.
  3. Kerrytown Apartments

Looks amazing, as always from you, and helps add too a very sparse area in the game.  Good job!
  4. Update 78 | Das'gotn | CBD

I like the look of this cbd, feels natural. I do have a couple requests, can you link me to the "M" (Mori) building and the "Newsfeed" (DoCoMo) building? I am having trouble finding them on the Japanese sites listings.
  5. Reddonquixote's BAT thread

Man, I just love the roof on this one. So great. I can't wait to put this in a city and turn the lights out and watch it glow.
  6. December 2012 Census in HD!

Nice, it will be interesting to see what develops where.
  7. IDS's (mostly) Minnesota BATs

Classrooms is an awesome use for this building, it fits perfectly.
  8. Za's Non-NYBT Thread

Really liking these buildings you are creating, Midrise buildings are a severely lacking area for this game and these are looking fantastic. These will really help people with their transitions from larger downtowns and for building smaller cities' cores. You are doing an awesome job.
  9. IDS's (mostly) Minnesota BATs

As far as modding, I'd recommend growable residential and maybe a landmark, I think it could easily pass as college dorm building or an apartment building. I really like this one, it is unique and I think you are doing an awesome job on it.
  10. Eicosakis Biology Research Centre

Nicely Done. I don't see why the resistance to a hospital version, we could always use more hospital models in the game.
  11. Chicago BAT Project

Chicago is one of my favorite cities and i really like this building as well. You are doing a magnificent job on it.
  12. Georgiana Update 2

I like the city. I think it could use a bit more mid rise buildings between the skyscrapers and the houses though.
  13. Update 72 | Ikushima-Sekkopo | Hills ahead!

Nice, I really like that baseball diamond.
  14. Urbanized Areas Index

In this CJ, you will often read about the showcased city's ranking on the UAI. This post is meant to explain that a little further. It will also be permanently added as a side block on this CJ for easy reference. The Urbanized Areas Index, or UAI is a tiered listing system for developed areas. Tier 1 - Tier 1 cities are metropolises with a population of 1 million or more. They are cities important on a global scale and are cultural and economic juggernauts. (ex. New York City, Chicago) Tier 2 - Tier 2 cities usually have a population of 100,000 to 1 million and are major metropolitan areas. They are anchor cities in a regional and national scale economies. (ex St. Louis, Nashville) Tier 3 - These cities usually have a population of 50,000 to 100,000 and are key cities of a metropolitan area. They are often anchor cities to a state's economy. (ex. Peoria, Illinois, Rochester, MN) Tier 4 - Tier 4 cities have a population of 20,000 to 50,000 and do not have a metropolitan area. They are fairly unimportant economically outside of their immediate area. Tier 5 - Tier 5 cities have a population under 20,000 and are officially titled "towns". These are the most numerous settlements and where most people in the country call home.
