  1. Museum of SimNation

This is awesome -- I'll probably use it in my Real DC as the Natural History Museum and several other museums, besides. Does it have any educational effect?
  2. NAM General Discussion Thread

I'm considering installing the NAM, but I'm worried about emergent effect problems with my current cities. Will installing the NAM have any effects on cities built without the NAM? Also: I routinely use 3x3 one-way traffic circles. Will these automatically become NAMmed into real roundabouts? I remain seriously impressed with the efforts of the modders, and look forward to using your awesome additions -- but please, can you allay my fears first?
  3. Fuente de Neptuno

I put this lot in the center of a 4x4 roundabout next to every ferry station I build, so that Neptune will smile on my waterways, and none of my ferries will capsize. So far, it's working great! Thanks for a stellar lot.
  4. ODS Tower

Thanks for adding to the way-too-small ranks of Co$$ buildings! I love the green glass texture. It looks like the roof vents aren't quite perfect -- http://maps.google.com/maps?q=portland+or&ll=45.518263,-122.674423&spn=0.003414,0.010274&t=k&hl=en ...but I love the building anyway. Thanks!
  5. Hotel Coral Essex

I'm thinking that it's only a matter of time before someone mods this lot to have night-time lighting in accordance with the Revenge of the Nerds plot line. ZZZap, and suddenly road traffic past the lot triples!
  6. CanWest Global Place former TD Center

I (finally!) just got the TD Center to grow in one of my cities -- looks sharp! The white looks a little too clean and polished next to some of my other supposedly white buildings. You mentioned a v1.1 coming out soon, with improved textures, and I think that would be a great idea.
  7. The Cobb Grand Plaza

Just got a Cobb Grand Plaza to grow in my downtown last night, and I love it! I'm going to have to work extra hard to keep it from getting distressed, though -- I hate to see such a pretty building go to the dogs.
  8. Kolmiotalo

Wow! A great accomplishment. Hopefully more BAT builders will take note of this creative technique. If you're feeling ambitious, maybe you could use this technique to give us a realistic Flatiron Building?
  9. American Civil War Cemetary v10

I'm working on a realistic Washington DC region, and this will make a great Arlington (better than the default cemetary). My scale is pretty strange, though... I may actually need to place these with regular cemetaries in a checkerboard pattern to fill up the space that Arlington actually covers.
  10. CIA Headquarters

Neat... I'm building a realistic DC map using an atlas and some scanned terrain, and this is going in ASAP. :)
  11. No Trucks

That's awesome! Isolating industrial with these should be a snap--just give them one or two rail lines out and a freight station and POW, more successful freight trips. This is a GREAT idea!
  12. Landmarks with Employment

Makes whites whiter, drives away unpleasant odors with its minty-fresh scent, and eliminates unsightly yellow stains... this lot is the POPE. No, the BOMB. No, it's THE POPE'S BOMB-DIGGITY (WITH CHERRIES).
  13. Starbucks coffee

I agree that the corporate logo visible from above doesn't make much sense, but it is instantly recognizable. I think you made the right call on jobs, though. One manager, one barista, and one person on the other register, for two shifts a day.
