How to configure SC4 to work with your new hardware
tylersada replied to Morofry's topic in SC4 Bugs & Technical Issues
I am running windows 8, 8 cores(3.10 ghz processor), 16 gig ram, 64 bit sys, amd radeon 7800 series. I used this tutorial and works great on windows 8 (thank goodness as I have had so much trouble with my other older games). -
Discussion about Always-On Connection to Origin
tylersada replied to neurokirurgi's topic in SimCity (2013) General Discussion
Not everyone is blessed to live in a country with decent paychecks and to afford 80 euros for a game. No they do not, I live on social security and still managed to put the money aside to buy it legally. Being dishonest just because you are poor does not make it right. Let's not start this.. Your social security must be more than the average paycheck in my country. maybe, but I also have the cost of living to deal with in my country and my state in particular. I barely make ends meet. In order to buy my games etc. I do without other things. -

EA's stock is currently around $18 a share - a year and a half ago it was more than $50 a share.quote> There are a couple of nude patches that work for the Sims 3. If you go to this site it has a lot ot the cheats, mods etc http://www.yggsims.com/, There is also a pretty large modding community at MTS http://www.modthesims.info/index.php. I have almost everthing (the testingCheatsEnabled are still weak but there are many things that have been addressed). As to Societies, It is admittedly buggy, but still fun to play if you can get it started. I have vista so I know the problems. I was finally able to play by doing a little research and bypassing the launcher.

No you don't have to purchase anything. When you double click on the mod (from your desktop**if you didn't unpack it on your desktop, try moving it) . After you double click, a rectangular box should come up(if you have any other screens up, this box can hide behind them, so close everything) the box is the content installer. you have to click yes to install.

I haven't had a great deal of problem with SCS crashing. I have an NVIDIA GeForce 7600 GS. I have just updated my drivers from NVIDIA. I have all my graphics maxed. The game works fine unless I have a huge city, then it slows down.

I have gathered quite a few cheats as well as what is in the Prima Guide. I haven't seen anything like that yet.

The base game comes with a couple of trees, there is also a mod on the exchange for additional trees. I maxed my graphics so that i could see every detail. i agree with borisv that it could be your settings.
