Murimk Prop Pack Vol03 - Industrials Here is a prop pack containing more than 300 small and large props, designed to create great versatility in lotting and designing industry themed lots and sets. Included is a large range of different industrial... stuff ;-) LIST OF ITEMS * Small Props - pallets, barrels, drums, hollow blocks, pipes, petrol tanks, girders, tires, cable drums, safety gear, trash containers, wooden fences - and more * Large Props - sheds, garages, mobile offices, tents and warehouses * Offset Props - short, long and diagonal offsets * Industrial Fences - puzzle pieces of different sizes, orientations and offsets * Filler Props (Dirt & Grunge Texture) * Extender Props (Dirt & Grunge Texture) Aldo included - * 6 MMP sequences - containing most of the small props DEPENDENCIES None! DEVELOPER NOTES * All props from this pack can be used to make your own lots. Do not include them in your upload though - please point to this pack as a dependency. * The props all have reduced bounding boxes (occupant size), to ensure maximum MMP 'paintability'. * There are no XML files included in this pack, as most of these props are designed to be overhanging, and therefore should not be made into building exemplars. If you do wish to make them into something other than props, you can fabricate exemplars in Reader, and refer them to the model in question (RKT1). * Most of the small and large props come in many variations - * orthogonal * diagonal * angled * offset * different colors * The MMPs are divided into six groups - 1: Blue Drums, Barrels, Water- and Petrol Tank 2: Pallets, Pallet Bins, Hollow Blocks, Cement Bags 3: Iron Girders, Concrete- and PVC-Pipes 4: Electric Cables, Cable Drums, Propane Cylinders 5: Tires, Safety Items, Concrete Barriers 6: Mobile Office Waggons and Tents, Trash Container * Find them at or near the end of the Mayor Menu with custom icons. * All MMP sequences have a blind prop at the end. * The MMPs are stored in a separate folder, and they are not packed together. That way, you can choose to omit any sequences you don't want in your game, to save menu space. [box]Note: This Pack includes NO Lots![/box] INSTALLATION Unpack into the plugins folder (in 'My Documents'). All new props are packed into a resource dat. The lots are unpacked and kept in two different subfolders. If you wish to use only some of the lots, just remove the unwanted lots from your plugin folder. CREDITS Although all props are batted by Murimk, this has really been a team project with efforts, input and brainstorming from the Nightowls: Paeng, Shokthrpy, Epicblunder and Craig-Abcvs. The MMPs were modded by Epicblunder, Shokthrpy and Paeng. Is it possible to have the NAM puzzle pieces in a sub menu?
murimk replied to sn1975's topic in SC4 Modding - Open Discussion
Well, some are still using it... I can recommend this thread over at SimPeg, if you want to try it out. http://www.simpeg.com/forum/index.php?topic=8895.0 Have no idea if it could be used for NAM pieces, but I guess i can't... -

This bridge is a version of my previous 'Bungy bridge', which was based on 'Kawarau Bridge' in New Zealand. This version has no bungy platform, which makes it... just a regular bridge. ;-) Since I named the former version 'Bungy Bridge', I've named this one 'Kawarau Bridge', to pay hommage to the original bridge. The bridge is 4 tiles long, which means that it spans 2 full tiles in addition to the two sloped 'end' tiles. The terrain elevation should be the same on both sides of the bridge span. This is a landmark lot, eyecandy only. DEPENDENCIES - This file has no dependencies. - Use of a hole digger set is advisable, to make terraforming easier. INSTALLATION Unpack into the plugins folder (in 'My Documents'). @James McGill: I don't really see why... you see, this is just an open part of a tunnel, so by placing it above a game tunnel, or above the subway used to connect pieces like the one in your link, it appears to be part of the transit system. Making this functional (transit enabled) would not be plausible in my mind...

This is a pack of bedrock themed brushes for the Mayor Mode Flora menu. The set contains a total of 32 rocks divided into 4 different 'texture themes': - plain grey (glaciated and smooth) - marshy (overgrown and dirty) - rough - mossy Each theme contains two brushes: - one 'brush', containing a simple, quite large, roundish patch of bedrock - one 'cycle' of 7 large patches of bedrocks and cliffs There are no blind prop included, as these are large enough to allow for quite accurate bulldozing :-) * These are large props, which can easily cover a big area. With the 'cycles' especially, it might be worth not 'painting' the rocks in, but rather click them in one at a time. The rocks are found near the end of the Mayor Mode Flora menu. There is also included a set of prop exemplars for the small 'brush' rocks only, to be used for lotting purposes. DEPENDENCIES This file has no dependencies. INSTALLATION Unpack into the plugins folder (in 'My Documents'). SUPPORT If you have comments or find yourself in need of support please visit the Murimk Productions thread over at Simpeg.com. This bridge is loosely based on a bridge in Stavanger, Norway. It is a landmark only (eyecandy) and is found towards the bottom of the 'Landmarks' menu. The lot is set up to let you plop the bridge on flat land, two tiles away from a 15m high slope (use hole diggers/raisers to make sure it fits perfectly). The bridge comes in two versions - one 'left' and one 'right'. Now - which way is left, you ask? That's a matter of personal opinion, based on your personal point of view... so, left is left and right is right. If you disagree, left is right and right is left. Ok? Each bridge is lotted twice: one urban version and one rural version. - The urban version uses default white base texture, which can be easily changed using a mod like Paeng's Sandstone Mod. - The rural one has no base textures, making it blend in with your terrain of choice. Plop cost: $ 500 Bulldoze cost: $ 50 The lot has a landmark effect of 50 over a radius of 10 tiles, and a slight park effect. DEPENDENCIES * This file has no dependencies. Need more rocks? Yeah, of course you do, everyone does! Now, here's some more for you. This is a set of 35 rocks divided into 5 categories, each represented with its own item in your Mayor Mode Flora menu. The following sets are included: - Flat rocks - 8 rocks, with a blind prop in the end of the plop cycle. - Mossy Flat rocks - 8 rocks, with a blind prop in the end of the plop cycle. - Round rocks, small - 5 rocks, no blind prop. - Round rocks, medium - 9 rocks, no blind prop. - Round rocks, large - 5 rocks, with a blind prop in the end of the plop cycle. The rocks are found near the end of the Mayor Mode Flora menu. There is also included a set of prop exemplars for all the rocks, in case you'd like to use them for lotting purposes. Thanks guys, it's nice to get good feedback. Really cool that some of you have visited and even jumped from the bridge! I've just seen it on pictures, so I hope I do it justice. @ Freemoney: You can try Smoncrie's Hole Digger Lots, but there are others out there as well.

This bridge is loosely based on the 'Kawarau Bridge' in New Zealand, which seems to be nicknamed 'Bungy Bridge'. I've got various pictures of this for inspiration and design ideas, although it's in no way batted 'to scale' - the size has been made to fit with the game grid. Also, this download includes a small overlook platform for spectators to watch their friends (or foes) bungee jump off the bridge. * The platform is lotted separately and can of course be used anywhere you'd like, also not by the bridge. The bridge is 4 tiles long, which means that it spans 2 full tiles in addition to the two sloped 'end' tiles. It's quite important that the bridge is plopped over a deep enough gorge or else it will have serious consequences for the poor jumper... A safe height difference should be (game) 45m, or three times the 15m hole digger/raiser. The terrain elevation should be the same on both sides of the bridge span. * The author of this file takes no responsibility for any sims getting hurt by bad terraforming. Use at your own risk! The lots have no base textures which gives you the possibility of dressing them yourself, using MMPs. Both the bridge and the platform are timed so that once a day there'll be a guy jumping, with a crowd showing up on the platform as well as on the bridge. Both lots are eyecandy only and are found towards the bottom of the 'Landmarks' menu. The bridge has a landmark effect of 50 over a radius of 10 tiles and a slight park effect, the platform has very slight landmark and park benefits. DEPENDENCIES This file has no dependencies. Use of a hole digger set is advisable, to make terraforming easier. INSTALLATION Unpack into the plugins folder (in 'My Documents').
