I usually lay all my water pipes first, then I usually mess with the RHW a bit, which afterwards I pick a side and start zoning. I like my method, since whenever I seem to "plan" a city, it doesn't end up the way I want it, so I just let the game take its course, and it's nice just letting everything flow. It usually ends up with me re-zoning large chunks so things look like they fit together, and destruction for parks and more transit when it gets too cramped, but its fun that way.

Kj3400, I think you can smoothen out that interchange a bit. maybe add some smooth curves and more space for the merging lanes? But it strangely resembles the semi-compact interchanges i like to make.

I think you might have been able to make it a little more compact, but I like how it's really neat and organised. Mine are a total mess. Do you have a pic of the cloverleaf you're trying to replace?

I'm looking for a railroad crossing that replaces the ingame one with one that has the overhead thing. Does anybody happen to know where I can find it? Also, does anybody know of a taxi generator or how to make one? Here's a pic of what I'm looking for. Thanks in advance to anybody that can help!
