  1. Goober Small Office Building

it looks a lot like one of the ugliest buildings i've ever seen IRL - i think it was in Ohio. 10 for realism.
  2. Crystal Junction

looks like you might be getting to the size (at least on the east) where another freeway would be useful - that drive would be terrible to go around the canyon from the farthest northeast suburbs. great looking city, looks like a real desert city with the cleancut green vs desert lines. a lot like flying over nevada. dave
  3. NAM General Discussion Thread

i have a feeling i know what the answer is, but i already had re traffic cop'd a 4.24 version of the traffic file, can i keep using that version, or has that file been upgraded also? dave
  4. EuroChic Modern Tract Housing

very, very cool. these'll fit in my beach cities great.
  5. Midland Criminal Justice Center

excellent, i was looking for a new police station. thanks.
  6. Post Office

i'd prefer to see plopable with some type of bonus for having them, cause it's convenient if the post office is close by. looks good though.
  7. The Cobb Atlantic

great, i need to zone another 5x5 lot for this one? cause i will, and it'll be worth it :)
  8. BAT Projects - SimGoober

if you do the storefronts as real stores, couldn't you make a prop family of storefronts for a bunch of different chains, so that each time the building came up it'd have a different combo of storefronts? maybe it'd be too much work, but it'd be pretty sweet. dave
  9. Cobb Luminary Park

once again, something i want in my cities. thanks.
  10. San Diego v1.0

that's the nicest looking barrio logan i've seen. this is coming out great, and looks like it'd be easier to drive than the real thing. dave
  11. Crystal Junction

it seems like the east side might be spread out enough, but the beltway idea on the west side was too close to the existing inner loop. it might not hurt to have something east of the city from the 48 to the 11 (running somewhat along the proposed route) to help accomodate future growth, and encourage lower commute times. i suppose it's up to if the funding/construction would be worth it though. dave
  12. One MT Plaza

    very cool, very cool...
  13. Courtyard Hotel

i love these smaller (non-highrise) structures, please keep releasing!
  14. Safeway Gorcery Store

  15. Do you want a new Navy Port?

i like it as a start, definitely something i'd download and use. i hope you finish it. dave
  16. SC Golf pack

i never use the golf pack, but that country club is great!
  17. Goldivas GDV BAT Projects

Goldiva, 2 quick things: 1) Your marina is amazing, it's become one of my favourite things to really add a nice touch to a waterfront. 2) I misspelled your name somewhere else when reccomending the marina, sorry. Seriously, that and the waterfront hotel are great work, congrats on the recognition. Dave
  18. GDV Waterfront Hotel plus Growable Resort Hotel

    amazing work, thanks a ton!
  19. Chemical Testing Facility

i like the lot, but it looks a lot more like a I-M than I-HT lot.
  20. Meat Packing Co

    oooh! industrial! yay!
  21. The Cobb Royale

    more excellent work, great job.
  22. San Diego v1.0

South Park isn't a bad neighborhood, I was just trying to convey that while it's improved and not slums, it's not a beautifully master-planned suburban area. Another similar situation would be the North Park/Hillcrest areas, which are both rather nice middle-class neighborhoods, but they still have problems with homeless people and needles laying on the ground. They're not bad neighborhoods, but they're not idyllic communities either. As long as I'm posting also, I've been unsure if I should reccomend upgrading El Cajon Blvd/Washington St to an avenue, cause it is a major 6-lane road (at least from I-5 to I-805), with very high traffic volumes, but the speed limit is usually only 35mph, which is closer to a road. Dave
  23. DuskTroopers Lyre Plaza

i've run out of compliments for you. 10.
  24. San Diego v1.0

great job with the golf course, south park/logan heights/barrio logan are all R$ and (at most) R$$ neighborhoods. middle class, but not the kind of neighborhood most suburbanites would want to get lost in at night. dave
  25. San Diego v1.0

OB actually is a perfect grid, but it's lined up at a 45 degree angle. and make a BAT petco park! i'll download it! dave
