  1. HOW IT WORKS (GREAT): INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

The line about needing bigger cities and highways sounded interesting. I wonder if it actually means anything
  2. Broadview A Suburb of Trent

I think a road slope mod would be a really useful addition to your plugins
  3. The Marina at Masel

Harbour looks so natural well done!
  4. Bergstadt teaser and replies

I cringe at the thought of recreating the precision of those rocks ect lol paid off looks great
  5. Vistalegre: Industrial area

Wow your city looks awesome nice detail work looks polished!
  6. SimCity's Heavy Traffic - SimCity Insider

Looks good. I think I will be frustrated though if I cannot build extra turning lanes ect. if streets are being backed up from left turns and thats the main problem. I guess I'm just spoiled by TULEPS.
  7. Bruce and Grey Counties, Ontario Canada

Holy Crap this is massive! I love the bruce peninsula hopefully the shoreline cliffs show up. Thanks for this,
  8. Fatherted's Nonfunctional Parking lots

Soooo are these transport enabled? Will the zones grow onto these lots?!
  9. Cool looking city: Rock "n" Residential

First off this blog is garbage, I feel dumber from reading it. Secondly if they do dumb stuff like this then make it good. Does anyone remember the awesome dragon landscapes someone made in cities XL?
  10. EA boss proudly refuses to publish single-player games

I feel like they do all this to appease their investors with this idea "of the future" since they are tanking on the stock market. It is sad to see greed ruin simcity and their other titles but with EA at least this is a consistant attribute and this doesnt surprise me anymore. They hear us I beleive... they just don't care
  11. Informative Cities in Motion 2 Video

Cities in Motion is making a huge overhaul of its game for its next release. Check out what development has to say... you may be surprised at how they are steering a course towards simcity.
  12. Informative Cities in Motion 2 Video

@ brynhyfryd Thanks for posting the video that's what I meant to link the article to. I'm so pumped up for this game... at least if simcity ends up being a bust 2013 won't totally suck. They completely listened to fans and this one interveiw provides so much information the Simcity team need to do stuff like this.
  13. Paeng's Modular Nuclear Power Plant

YES! Thank you so much for releasing this... I was drooling over your CJ
  14. 1860 Census

An awesome update! I cant wait for more. I hope things continue to grow!
  15. Mikeseith 8 Level Modular Garages

You are a boss. I can't wait to fit this into my cities!
  16. EA Sues Zynga for Copyright Infringement

It is a little ironic considering simcity social is so similar to cityville. But EA kinda had other reasons for its release and zynga does this with everything so good luck EA. wow youre right that was difficult to say.
  17. 13. Spedbury, a city of contrasts.

    great great great!
  18. Community Interviews Maxis: Part 1

So many obstacles to building a real city. So easy to fix. Awesome game so closeeeeeeeee. Those are my primitive thoughts. Glassbox is crazy awesome but practically every detail since restricts it so that things are more realistic, free and quite frankly more fun with SC4 buy the sounds of it. I will bitterly build a plopped curve road in SC4 on SC5's reelease date at this point.
  19. Solina

Nice Illyria isnt dead! Great to see you back..... I love the slat pans they rock. That area has a lot of character.
  20. Just Another Coal Town

What the heck! Brilliance! I don't know where to begin, you portrayed a coal town so incredibley well.
  21. idea for large cities

I think he means even more seamless then connections and deals. The new district could inherit policies, exchange garbage ect without deals and school and fire overlap which i think is actually possible in the new game. tax sharing would be hard though and I`m sure some of the mechanics of a super seamless tiles would be complicated. I`m not worried about this at all though. the edges now look onto the neighbouring city and its an extra fuss but not a big deal to do deals. So yes big cities and districts would be nice but I think youll be surprised at how it will play out.
  22. The Sounds and Simulation of the New SimCity

@0wn3d I think youre right. If you look at tax income per hour (I think thats what that box is at the top right) it says 0 which says to me the cars were plopped for a screenshot. In terms of map sizes ya I would love larger maps... I only play on large maps these days but at city edges it looks like there is much more continuity between cities so if city connections arent annoying like cities xl then it might actually be a non issue.
  23. From Motherland With Love...

The last picture is postcard perfction
  24. Brooklyn - part 2

Nice success in getting a american mid rise inner city urban feel haha i dodnt realize my feelings were so exact but youve created some strong character! Looks good even with the repitition although it was pretty obvious when I was looking at the pics.
  25. Weird Side Affect From Crash To Desktop

I too run into problems once my region hits half a million or a singular city hits 250,000 but never had a loss of another city except one time when I rebooted it was just a hole... the entire tile disappeared lol so be happy its not that bad! But ya sorry CTD's remain a mystery a lot of the time to me... good luck
