Refering to the past two pages... fantastic updates! Your region has aged like a fine wine I must say! Just to be picky.. I find the curves in some of your roads and railways (s-bndish things) to be a shame in your city because everything else is so great! Where possible I would suggest using FAR puzzle peices. I relize thats not possible (to my knowledge) with one way streets but for the rail I think it would just polish your work up to be greatly realistic.

Hi there! I have been searching for ages and can't find the download for roadside parking lots, parallel parking, diagonal parking ect. that are placed along avenues in many european CJ's. I am desperately looking for roadside parking lots!!! I don't have a picture, however I hope the description is quite clear. They are seperate lots that are placed BESIDE roadways or avenues where technically sims would have to cross the sidewalk to park. There are parallel and diagonal parking spaces. these are generally found in European cities. When I put in "parking lots" ect. into the STEX search or advanced search or the google search, I get about 8000 results. Seem parking is quite a common term in descriptions, no surprise there! If anyone would be able to guide me in the right direction, I will be eternally grateful and dedicate my capitol update where I plan to use them to that person in my up and coming CJ. I think the ones I am thinking of are quite old because I did see them a while back in a CJ that was from 2007, which the name escapes me. Simtropolis has become so big I can't find anyting anymore unfortunately! All help is greatly appriciated! Edited to combine another like post. -CaptCity

I'm dying to know! Everytime I put in parking lot ect. I get about 8000 worthless results! Please help! I love the effect you have created with them!

Poll-Where do you like to build your cities?
Jamonbread replied to ThePilotGuy's topic in SimCity 4 General Discussion
I prefer river deltas, they offer so much coast in intresting shapes, and would be very realistic because of the transportation benefits. You should add river deltas to the poll -

Construction of these lightrail projects really kill retail and cause massive traffic problems in the construction stage... St Clair in Toronto has been a mess for ages, unless the rail is really needed to free up congestion and isnt just something for the city to show off or as a poster to their green effort that in reality doesnt help, then I would be against it even though I think light rail is awesome. Florida is also just to sprawled to really have a useful mass transit system... I can see Miami sorta, but I dont think the Fort Lauderdale one would be that great. i know it has some high buildings but you have to remember people are coming from outside the core.

Nice little town! Thanks for the help earlier! As for my vote... I go with farms, progress my friend, progress. Other industry would ruin the small village.

Personally, I find you can make more realistic cities in the way this CJ is being created and is how I make mine as well. Keep the style and keep the look, cause its going great so far! Look forward to more! -

The hills actually impress me the most for some reason but the shoreline and the rest is spectacular and has great detail! -

Jamonbread commented on Catcher_of_Cats's City Journal Entry in Toronto: A recreation
Did you know they were going to etend that trench all the way down Spadina... crazy. That would have been awful but explains the sudden end when they realized how bad an idea it was! Well done. It's pretty rough close up but its not your fault at all and I don't live near there but I could recgonize everything pretty well so I find this pretty cool. Commute entty is genious! -

Jamonbread commented on MrBrightside's City Journal Entry in Banlieue - Crime, Ghettos, and shiny Skylines
I like the avenue bridge... It loos realistic since it appears to cross a shipping lane. Great CJ so far! -
Nice terrain mod choice but why is the church in a pit?
