  1. My city has reached 400,000 and tried to fix an elevated rail line. After bulldozing a rail overpass to reconstruct it, I got a prompt that said 'cannot create more objects of this type.' Apparently there are built-in limits in Cities Skylines. This is a game-changer for me and hope that someone is developing a work-around so our cities can grow. This city is hardly complex or built out. Any advice?
  2. SimCity Mac

I see Maxis is taking orders for only the PC version for release in March. Does anyone have a sales date for the Mac version?
  3. Mac and Cities XL

Has anyone tried CXL on a Mac via the Windows partition? If so, did it work OK?
  4. Cities XL and Mac

Has anyone tried running Cities XL on their Mac via the Windows partition? How does it work? Any issues?
  5. .exe files PC to MAC

Filejuicer works ONLY for Mac users with the most up-to-date operating systems. The Filejuicer program for those (like myself) running OS 10.2.8 are out of luck.
  6. General Xenotek

    Nicely done
  7. BSC Mac Archive

Hi, I'm operating 10.2.8, and downloaded the Juicer program for this OS. I downloaded the Enyati College by SG, and thought I extracted everything from the .exe OK. I put everything together in one file and put it in the plugins, as normal. The school did not show up in the menu. Scott
  8. BSC Mac Archive

I bought the same Juicer program you did. Have you had any luck with it? I tried to download some SG lots-- a couple of schools-- but I must've done something wrong because they did not show up in the school menu. Scott
  9. Thing row addon5

I love these -- thanks for the update
  10. Problems with SG residential properties

You pinpointed the problem. Thanks for your help.
  11. Problems with SG residential properties

We're almost there! The Clayton Homes are showing up OK now, thanks to the SG prop set Volume 2. I was either missing that, or didn't know I needed it. I've gone back to the SG Birka Homes read me file that I'd downloaded, and there were no mentions of any additional props that I would need. I also looked at SG's Small Homes read me file, because I have a hunch those buildings are not showing up either. No mention of additional prop downloads there, either. There are 8 variations in this file. The Kilbourn Family Home is among many of the lots (like J.Dunn DDS) that show up as boxes. I really appreciate your patience and your help. Scott
  12. Problems with SG residential properties

I think the J. Dunn DDS home is part of SG's Small Homes. I have no idea what set of properties Clayton Homes came from. There are about 10 different models. If I knew the source or the original name, I'd delete the whole set. I've searched through my directory-- no luck. When I click on these buildings, the query box does indicate they're by SG, and that they're RLS Homes. I see the yard props OK; I think I'm missing a prop set. The Claridge, Ashton, etc., all show up normally.
  13. Problems with SG residential properties

Yes, I've downloaded both of those. I've also downloaded a bunch of SG's other material and have had no problems. Just these homes show up as boxes.
  14. Problems with SG residential properties

I've downloaded several groups of SimGoober's residential properties from the MacArchive. Many of them -- Clayton Homes and Home of J. Dunn, DDS, show up as brown boxes. I've downloaded his suggested long list of props, but nothing seems to work to stop the problem. Any suggestions?
  15. RLS Small Shops

Sigh. This downloaded as an exe file, which I can't use on my mac.
