6 pointsThanks The grain shipping was a CSX-Nexis collaboration, I found a yet newer file in the CSX UpdatePack vol03 which is dated for 17.04.2004, I am pretty sure @CaptCity sent me this version. The Hawkers was last time a LEX DVD file, that's some sort of civic health/reward file. I've attached the LEX DVD version of the Hawkers, and a slightly modernized version of the Grain Shipping here. I don't have documentation for the latter one, but the Hawkers will come to Evermore eventually in way or an other... @CorinaMarie I think that was a different situation, but I don't recall now You guys and gals may add attachments, I don't mind, just try to find the latest version of those and share those if it is possible. 5 pointsThese are basic lots of the old versions of Wallibuk's South American Houses that were removed in 2018 (just to add more growable buildings in RCI categories that no one has covered yet for Latin American content—I had some new models I was working on but got discouraged because of tech limitations with my computer). So I don't think they can be uploaded to STEX and I only had access to the models in the first place because someone shared them in the temporary stex channel on Discord. These are the relevant model files, feel free to delete if inappropriate. models + desc.zip

4 pointsDid we ever add you to the PM where details were discussed? That sort of contains all the documentation we created at the time. But also: Yes, there is a possibility that we'll finish it to make a prim and proper STEX upload. However, there's a big time frame caveat to that. RL went quite wonky for me a few years ago and it looks like it's going to still be a bit of a mess for at least another year. However, sometime in the one to two year future, it's going to get good again. At that point CB and I can both dedicate more time to ST and our creations and such just like we used to do. (At least that's the plan.)

4 pointsOkay, I managed to fix the scrolling problem, I had to log and debug what area IDs the plugin was treating as 3D world surfaces vs SC4 UI and just have it target world surfaces. Great! And with that 1.0 is officially released! Thank you to everyone!
-
3 pointsThanks @CaptCity and thanks @kaimai. All the BAT files are working. Now I'll be able to create my Rio suburb just like my real neighborhood.

3 pointsYa any hotkey that uses WASD, just disable that function. Ex I wanted to take a screenshot- cntrl-shift-s. Could not. Also saving with the hotkey way is no good, until I disabled it. I would recommend it being disabled by default for a future version.
-
3 pointsI came across something else. It's not the biggest deal when the SC4AutoRunCheats DLL cheat exists, but with version 1.0 of your camera mod, I cannot enter "a" in the moolah cheat because it's a part of WASD. Though by disabling WASD movement, I am able to enter the cheat. So, that would work as a workaround, too. Thank you for the update!

3 pointsThe prior time which I reference was totally valid on your part. (No worries and I learned my lesson. ) Someone asked for something. I found it by name and posted it. Turns out it was an older version with bugs which you were actively fixing. I didn't know that ofc. So, since I'm never up to date on what's what, I'll beep you every time to either get your blessing or to say what the better path is. That's why you're the expert for these types of questions. I've added you to the WSSNCOPFL private message now. It's been forever ago since I read in there. It's up to 4 pages so maybe something is useful.

3 pointsI've got a slightly newer one (Nov. 19, 2003). Maybe made after Rush Hour because it has an 'RH' appended to its name. Also have a Organic Hawkers as an installer. Its a BSC Reward lot. We'll see what Tyberius thinks... I don't want to get yelled at either...

3 pointsHey guys. I'm looking for a couple a couple of the old BRT lots. Specifically Nexis Grain Shipping and CSX Organic Hawkers, the latter of which was unavailable even on the sc4devotion LEX (it may have been a disc exclusive). I saw a discussion a couple of years where they were provided as attachments, but since the site wipe earlier this year the attachments have since gone missing again. Any assistance would be great.

Commercial Services Demolition Site Sims are always building stuff, so it's time for them to knock something down! A ploppable 4x4 demolition site as well as 4x2 add-on lot if it helps your zoning. Offering 168 CS$$ jobs as well the smaller having 49 CS$$. Both lots will be found in Landmarks, or in the Commercial Services zoning tab under CS$$ if using the submenus DLL, maybe both. DarkNite and MaxisNite varieties. (My DN isn't the greatest, the model is displaying correctly but the surrounds are not the best, something I've learnt for next time. If you think it doesn't fit just remove and use the MN version). All models either created or modified in BAT4Blender, including lighting. Thanks goes to nos.17 and Jasoncw Dependencies: - DONO Prop Pack v1.0.2 - AGC Streets DLC - AGC Automobile DLC - AGC Heavy Machinery DLC - AGC Industry Energy Telecom DLC - A_1P_120_SimWorkers_1.1 - European Truck Prop Pack vol.1 - SM2 mega-prop-pack-vol1 If you're downloading the DN version I assume you'd have it, but if not you'll need: - Simfox Day/Night Modd -
2 pointsEDIT: This post has been updated Hey everyone! I've been working on this mod called SC4-ModernCamera. It adds a whole new, modern 3D mouse-controlled camera to SimCity 4 Deluxe. Feel free to test it out and play around. Let me know what you think! ✌️ https://github.com/UncleUncleRj/SC4-ModernCamera/

2 pointsNot sure what's going on here but I did find another folder of .sc4desc files that I also edited for some reason, so that may be the cause. Or yes it might just not have been finished. New desc.zip

2 pointsIt's late on a Friday for me, but before I forget, do you think that there could be an intuitive way of hiding the camera controls button? The button always being there isn't that great for screenshots. Thanks again!

Hello folks, first of all, I`m glad to be back to Simtropolis, and I say this as a big thank you to all the people involved in the work to bring the site back online, I was back to playing SimCity 4 in the middle of the site downtime and I cant describe the surprise when I clicked my old Simtropolis browser bookmark, to re download my plugin folder, and found that the site was offline. I`m Glad the site was brought back online, It was a good part of my early to late teenage, that I do not wish to abandon. So,about the file: My last update was pre Covid 19, sooo, it`s a long hiatus, and I practically forgot how to even run bat4max and 3dsmax.So long story short this is a quick model that I made, It`s a common apartment project based on a standard pre fab model, found in almost every mid to big city in Brazil, 42m2, two bedroom . In the game is a stage 3-4 R$ zone, so , mid density, while in real life it`s a common lower middle/middle class housing on high rent value areas, popular among young couples and families, and first generation housing. In fact, this was based on my first apartment when I moved out of my parents house. I included a landmark plop version, among tree growable lots , hope you all like. Dependencies: SC4D LEX Legacy - BSC Common Dependencies Pack -
2 pointsI actually like ShareX as a utility for taking screenshots across Windows. I have a hotkey for screenshotting the active monitor. The game's screenshot tool remains useful for me, though, for file naming and organization.

2 points@hugues aroux Yes the drawing did help. You want a 'lock angle' modifier. So that wherever you're currently at, you can jump to a locked Maxis-camera to the nearest possible location but stay mobile. Yes I can work on that. In fact, the gears are already turning!

2 pointsPerhaps I didn't express my idea very well... (google translate) The "modern" mode allows for rotation and tilt changes within a single mouse movement—which is great for generating different viewpoints—but by holding down a key like [Alt] or [Ctrl] (since [Shift] is used for movement speed), we could maintain the rotation (with the smooth motion you're proposing) without altering the elevation! This way, we would preserve the viewing angle intended for the current zoom level. (I don't remember exactly, but I think Maxis applied a 45° angle in Z5...!?! But this value might not make sense with your DLL.!?!) A little drawing might make it clearer... I hope so.

2 pointsI'll say it again here... this camera handling is top-notch. Modern! .. .. But since I like the usual camera angle (I know, old habits die hard) - and to avoid 3D distortion -, I was wondering if you could suggest rotating the view, while keeping the base angle, by pressing a key while rotating with M3. >> [shift]+Mouse3 ?? Or, an indicator (cursor change) that tells me the camera is in the Maxis angle...!?? Yes, yes, you put in a "Reset" button... but, I'm a very, very lazy person... Thank you for this plugin.

2 pointsYes, I know. And I'm very happy you made it through whatever mess you were going through IRL alive and safe. You gave us all quite a scare. But yeah, I wasn't expecting anything anytime soon. I was simply asking if there were plans to eventually revisit some of those old projects of yours. And no, I don't think you ever did. In fact, by the time I discovered it, a download link had already been provided and the discussion had already been mostly wrapped up. And then the news of that whole ordeal of yours broke barely a month or two after downloading it, and I never did get around to testing it due to all the craziness happening that year in general.

2 pointsI have NexisGrainShipping_4c1d4430.SC4Lot in its own folder. Peeking inside it looks complete. I'll wait for @Tyberius06's permission before uploading it. (I've caused trouble in the past by providing older copies of files before. This one is dated 12 July, 2003.) Peeking in the Exemplars, it looks like it's a ploppable freight train station.

2 pointsI was trying to look at the new traffic bollards I dropped in around the circle using the plop and paint when this one taxi driver drove up on the curve at the last moment and kind of photobombed me...
-
2 pointsI appreciate the comment, I hope this might ease your feelings about it! I still have adjusting to do, this is not the final product, there's some inconsistencies I have to repair. I will have more this weekend on it. The model will be in a SD format when it is released, this is how it will look in game:
-
2 pointsI'm wondering if you have @kaimai's relots of Wallibuk's Brazilian items. Those file names pop up in that set. I don't see it on the STEX, but if it was fairly new, it is probably in those items that were lost when the site went down. There was a specific period of time when the items uploaded hadn't been saved upon restoration. I don't have a readme in the set that I have, so I don't know if there's any depencencies other than having Wallibuk's originals. Maybe Kaimai will stop by...

2 pointsMore progress, including the building being inexplicably beige in the back.

This is a mostly accurate recreation of an office complex in the Nanshan District of Shenzhen, China. The real building is a complex of three towers connected together at the lower levels, and has a perforated metal facade. My version is modified to only include one of the towers, the facade is not perforated, and there are a few other small changes. 4x3 growable CO§§§ for the Euro tileset. MaxisNite and DarkNite versions included. DarkNite requires the Day and Nite Modd. -
1 pointThis is a favorite little group of buildings of mine - the juxtaposition of the modern clad Gucci building by @mattb325 flanked by the two deco-era concrete beauties of The Sundry and Hillier buildings by @Jasoncw. Then of course there is the commanding presence of the perfect Reynolds Building by @Diego Del Llano in the foreground. Yet it does not dominate, only compliments, the smaller buildings. I used to want to dress the cityscape only in as many glass towers as I could find but lately I'm loving trying to find the right mix of older buildings and new. It may be that I realize it is more of a challenge - it is easier to just build what you think is all-new perfection, it is a little more difficult, but every bit as interesting, to build as it is more likely to be. And still like it.

1 pointThank you for creating and maintaining this site, admins !

1 pointIf you don't mind, @Turnstyled, I could provide a .zip of a folder out of your original complete package. Then, @PIPICécé I'll need to know which one you want.
