I am 27, and have played SimCity since the original on the Amiga 500/2000. I have played every version of SimCity, plus SimEarth, and The Sims Deluxe Edition. I bought my first PC (486) specifically to play SC2K, and bought my current machine (P4) almost a year ago in anticipation of SC4. Based on the number of others who have posted that they've done this sort of thing too, I think the computer industry owes a debt of gratitude to Maxis!

I am amazed I have managed without Simtropolis until a few weeks ago. Up until then I was only vaguely aware of its existence. OK, I admit, my excitement about Rush Hour was the primary influence in my becoming a member. Now I'm finding I'm checking several times a day. It's been very educational, and a lot of fun.

Oh yeah, when I'm not playing SC4, or eating, or sleeping, I'm a GIS (Geographic Information Systems) Coordinator for a certain county government in Ontario, Canada. I often like to think of the county's GIS as my own little real life SimCity. The similarities are quite striking sometimes.

You'll have the record (for the tallest building in the world) for a year. In the autumn 2004 a new building opens up in Taipei, Taiwan, and it's 520 metres high!

Hello. in response, I'm 26 yo F and I currently live on an AirForce base in South Carolina. I just moved here from Florida about 2 weeks ago into an awesome 2 story house with 3 bdrms and 3 bathrooms. Right now, I'm unemployed due to the fact I just moved, but I was working as a secretary/receptionist/gopher. I hope to find something in the line of Security work, for that can be an awesome job.
