You have good posters. Green Day, Bruce Lee, and Rainbow. What more does anyone need?

That's probably a flying saucer in jeeper767's pic. That's a beautiful shot of New York, though. I just updated mine. This pic was taken New Years Day down on the coast. The fog was amazing. http://www.ikonomi.com/images/desktops/desktop032404.jpg width=800 height=600>

Sorry guys, I had to do this. I was not diggin' the other picture at all, so finally, by some strange force of chance, someone snapped a nice one of me. With a new hairstyle, too!
-
Yeah, I was getting kind of POed. Thanks about the hair, though! It's a lot of work, but I love it. I'm almost tempted to take a replacement pic now, but I happen to be in the exact same state of unshavenness.

Come on, guys! Seems like there're more fake and joke pics in this thread than real ones. Hahaha, I totally nuked that link. Word up homies! Err... yeah.

I thought it was time for a December update. Show love for the iPod!

That particular land bridge just kind of appeared when I was trying to draw an avenue over reasonably flat land, as the picture shows. You may not be able to see that it slopes down toward the water, though. Too bad I demolished it after taking the pic... It looked very unique. Maybe this is the place to get help with my rail missions. Edit: You know, I always seem to post and THEN figure the problem out for myself. This was the place to get help with my rail missions! -
Bridge height mod? Who needs it!

I love the jello mold water.

Whoops, looks like it's heading for the ferry terminal now! I noticed this the other day in one of my nicer cities. I didn't know stadiums could deteriorate! I wonder how many R$ Sims it can hold?

Eisenhower figured, for various reasons, that it would be wise to have a network of highways covering the country. In some cases, these highways are indeed circles going around a city. Some of those circles, such as the Beltway around Washington, DC are in more than one state. Others aren't. But they are still part of the same federally funded highway system. The Dwight D. Eisenhower National System of Interstate and Defense Highways ---------------- Thanks for the explanation, Skigeek. I kind of put two and two together after reading a snippet from that Houston Freeways book, that talked about limited interstate mileage to allocate. Then I figured the name came from a federal program and not because they're necessarily interstates. You cleared it up. To respond to Santonel's post, independent lane control would be phenomenal. I could see a system where you could lay one or two or three lanes at a time, and depending on their layout, select what type of roadway to build. Like the automatic on/offramps with highways now. For example, lay down two lanes going in opposite directions, and by default a street is built. Or, lay down two sets of two lanes each going in opposite directions, and it builds an avenue. This system might be too cumbersome, though. Still, it would be so useful to be able to split off highways and avenues, like you can do with the spiffy mod. I could also see free-hand drawn roads, kind of like in the first SimCity. Instead of click and drag to pull out a stretch of road, you click and drag in whatever shape or curve in which you want the road to be built, and it traces the route in real time, to be finalized or whatever. Sweet.
