Hey they signed up and paid for it! 9.gif If they end up like strawberry jam it's their problem. 22.gif

Just joking!

I can tell you it's more scary when a loaded "Meatbomber" breaks up in midair!

Don't believe me? Go and have a look at the link below:

The Czech Let 410 is really a workhorse and are popular around Eastern Europe and Africa, Like all Russian/Czech/Romanian aircraft they are much more reliable then their western counterparts so they usually suffer more abuse, neglect and punishment. So this kind of accident (Airframe Failure) is bound to happen.

I'm 24 and live in Raleigh, NC, USA
(My forum name is slightly misleading)

I'm one of the cofounders of a natural pharmaceutical company for which I currently oversee the online operations. (www.hmedicine.com).

I used to play simcity 3000 for 8+ hours straight. Simcity 4 hurts my eyes too much, but Im still training them for the pain.

Hey Jimbo!

Yeah I played BF1942 with the DC mod, on the Xtra DC server. The mod IMHO is alright, but not great. The weapons are a lot stronger so FF is a much bigger problem. Sometimes the games are just not very fun.

Btw how do you fly the choppers? (The Apache)

Hello all.

I am a Norwegian living in central England with my Texan wife...don't ask how we ended up here:-)

We're both addicted to Simcity, it started with SC3000. Or rather, it started with a game called Tropico which is excellent and quite different from the SC series, but equally addictive. In addition to both our PC's (one that needed a memory upgrade to play SC4) we have an Xbox, Dreamcast and PS2. No shortage of gaming opportunites in other words. We've been very tired at work the last few weeks, as the evenings and nights fly away while our sims prosper(and in some cases strike and rebell..)

We've learned a lot of tricks from the forums on Simtropolis and even tried to share some of our own discoveries. Btw, we love the story-thread that just started in the off topic forum ;-)

I am known principally for sitting in the chatroom, talking from the back of the double decker London Bus i drive, a picture of which you can find in the top-right corner of www.lonutd.co.uk. Really we should all be doing something more constructive than this, but there you are. We like it and will continue to do it.
(Or in my case continue to do it until i mention my political views, at which point Rybolton will boot me off the site. Such is life).

Hello from Wales, UK.

I'm 29 (the big 3-0 is looming) and I work as a Local Government Officer assessing applications for Housing and Council Tax Benefit. Been gaming since 1996 although I'm notoriously crap at them.

Favourites are all of the C&C series, Diablo II, an online game called GemstoneIII and a hopefully a fan of SC4 when I get it to run!

I'm 27 and from Belfast in Northern Ireland and work as an Oracle developer.

I've always been hooked on the Sim City games ever since it first came out on my old beloved Spectrum and I bet most of you have no idea what it looked like in ye olden days! We're talking about 15 years ago here!

If you think that it runs slowly on a P4 1.8 with 512MB RAM and a 128MB graphics card, just remember that it ran on a machine with 48KB of RAM and it ran like a dream!

I was having a bit of trouble with this game until finding this site, now my cities are growing steadily.

Nice way to get to know everyone for sure.

I am a 32 year old male (will explain the pic and such in a minute) with a wife and 3 kids the youngest of which is still crawling and into everything all the time.

I am a paint contractor specializing in retail and commercial finishes and also work with a friend of mine that runs an onsite computer repair company.

I am a very avid gamer when it comes to sim games, racing games and EverQuest. The name and picture are of my main character in EQ that was started as a role playing challenge and then developed into the one I play the most. I read so many various boards everyday that it has just made it easier to keep the name and such rather then having to remember so many different usernames and such.

I learned of this site from the folks that put together the boards for sim golf and am very impressed again with the mature people and discussions that are found here.

Lord, I'm never gonna be able to read all of these posts... Hi to all!

I'm 35 and a half and living with my partner in Atlanta, Georgia, USA. I work for a contact lens company, CIBA Vision. To explain the screen name, I was born in August (Leo) and I'm male (Guy). There's just no end to my creativity, is there?

I've been gaming since Zork on my Commador 64. God that was so cool. You just can't beat a good text based adventure. Since then it's been Monkey Island, SimCity, MOO, and tons more. I just wish that I'd had enough time to build a really great character during the Ultima Online beta test. *sigh* There is just never enough time to play all of the games you'd like.

Anyway, SimCity4 is very nifty. Lots of fun, but it's not really a grand new day for the series. But then again, could I have done better? I think not...

So cheers to all of you. This is a great site with a great bunch of folks. See ya 'round!
