I don't want to sound rude, but:

    1. That roadtype was previewed on wednesday the first time and JUST NOW you complain about something like this? Really?
    2. If you would have stopped posting requests over requests you might have seen that road in before.
    3. Your only complaint is the second complaint within one week.
    4. No "thank you" - no nothing at all - just some impatient comment.

So, at least I gonna say it:

Thank you for creating that monster of a road with all those meshes!!! :)

OK so just have a quick try on the new road... Fabulous. Can use Fine Road Anarchy to stack a highway above the road.

But there is one problem (probably for all 64m-wide road made by anyone) is that it is so difficult to split into 2 highway, as there is still only one node for such a wide road. Unless a roundabout is used.
I once thought to change my highway, which passing through the city, by this 64m avenue and elevated highway...
But the highway is difficult to join with the new road under the same node.

It should be the game limitation i guess, so needs to mod for work-around or just live with it.

Is it possible for you to make two specific roads for a DDI type intersection? The first will be like width of the 2+2 heavy road (or this type) with a tiny concrete median or barrier and the lanes backwards (so on a RHT map they would drive like a LHT map), the second will be like the 8 (4+4) lane road on NExt2 but with the lanes also reversed in the same way.

I have tried to make both but I don't understand how to dump the NExt2 roads with bridges, tunnels, slope etc. It is possible to use complex traffic light signals with TMPE to make a very compact interchange this way.

    Very nice, thanks!

One question though, why is the road with bus lanes marked as after dark DLC required?

This road shouldn't be used like that  (obviously) but if you really need to then yes a roundabout is needed

I've got my own projects to work on before i contemplate other people's requests.  Thank you for contributing though.  I would suggest that you only use NExt meshes as a guide and still create your own...

because bus lanes came in after dark babe ;) although they also come in mass transit i believe but they certainly aren't a part of the vanilla game!

I will say that the two bus lanes are actually really good. Basically you can have two bus corridors on the one road. I have this road placed as the main artery of my city with roads branching off it. buses turning across traffic utilise the inner bus lane which means they don't get caught in traffic, buses that stop on this road or turn off use the outer bus lane. and because of street hierarchy i rarely get other traffic using the bus lanes

Hmm, odd. I have MT, but not AD, and I do have access to bus lanes.

It might be I'm missing something, and if that's the case, I'm sorry. But if they come in Mass Transit, shouldn't they be marked as Mass Transit DLC, instead of After Dark?

well how do i mark it that you can use it if you have either Mass Transit or After Dark? I marked it with the DLC that first introduced bus lanes, more people are likely to have that as it was released ages ago.
If i mark the road as needing both after dark and mass transit then people will think you need both.

By the way reverse the situation, say I marked it as MAss transit. Then i'd get some person bitching about the fact they have After Dark and that has bus lanes in it too :( :/ :/ stuck between a rock and a hard place

Ah gotcha. Hmm, what might be a solution is to upload them twice, once for each DLC. But that's up to you.

Btw, I hope I didn't come across as bitching, that was not my intention.

@Jarko If the road doesn't contain bike lanes, then just subscribe to it. You might be able to enable it in the content manager because of the bus lanes from MT. If not then there's not really anything Bad Peanut can do - it's a mess having the same thing available in 2 different DLCs since we can't add an AD or MT requirement on Steam or in game.

Yeah because assets have a value dictating "DLCrequired" and these have after dark set in that field.

I think that's the end of the discussion. Nothing to be done. You'll just have to wait for AD to go on sale for the $5 or whatever 75% off is and get it if you want all of these roads

I'll go an rate all of them up, not because I want more 64m roads (I'm quite satisfied by the current set), but because they're super well made, and more people should see them.

Thanks Bad Peanut for the link to your thread. You might regret providing it, but here are some other ideas (I apologize if some are similar or the same as others already posted, but with over 300 posts in this topic, it's hard to keep track of what's already been shared):

    1-Lane Street with Parking & One-way Bike Lane (16 m) ( https://streetmix.net/-/630706 )

The following two streets are modeled after Westhaven Drive, the main street for Westport, WA. See: Westhaven Dr . I'm sure there are other examples elsewhere.

    1-lane-st-wparking--bike-lane.thumb.png.49ebfdb98de19cb60be83e601d43f127.png

    1-Lane Street with Parking & Two-Way Bike Lanes (16 m) ( https://streetmix.net/-/630683

Second variation with bike lanes in both directions.

    1-lane-st-wparking--bike-lanes.thumb.png.71a74ebc96738d379ceb4711ff7addc1.png

    3+4 Asymmetrical Downtown Blvd w/Parking/Sharrow Lanes (32 m) ( https://streetmix.net/-/630702 )

The following three 32 m designs are modeled after Bothell Way NE, in downtown Bothell, WA. The first design below is a direct replica of what currently exists (see: Bothell Way NE ), with the other two being my own variations of the concept. Looking thru the previous posts, I noticed you had created a very similar avenue style with following posts indicating this street layout is common outside the US (it's fairly unusual for Washington State so I figured it was worth sharing). I haven't a clue how a sharrow lane could be created in the road editor.

    34-downtown-blvd-wparkingsharrow-lanes.thumb.png.55024fb093d8aa4ea15e729514b9a430.png

    2+3 Asymmetrical Downtown Blvd w/Parking/Bike Lanes (32 m) ( https://streetmix.net/-/630695 )

Same as above minus two GP lanes and the bike lanes are now dedicated instead of being sharrows. I like this configuration as it keeps the bike lanes away from the parking lanes. You could easily switch the locations of the bike and parking lanes depending on your preference.

    23-downtown-blvd-wparkingbike-lanes.thumb.png.5baf150f1a2f1d3023edfd5555b5eac7.png

    4-Lane Downtown Blvd w/Parking & Bike Lanes (32 m) ( https://streetmix.net/-/630700 )

Same as above, minus asymmetric turn lane and the bike lanes (now protected) have been moved to be adjacent to the center two lanes of the avenue. I'm sure you could come with another dozen variations of this layout... there are lots of possibilities.

    4-lane-downtown-blvd-wparking--bike-lanes.thumb.png.b830ca7946cbf887a319bb939ffac4d7.png

Anyways, food for thought and maybe this sparks some sort of inspiration. If not, no worries. Thanks,

@BadPeanut Thank you for your amazing assets! Without them this game wouldn't be so much fun! If you want some inspiration for new roads, take a look at street with grass covered tram tracks https://www.google.com/maps/@52.5537048,13.4706794,3a,75y,126.76h,75.57t/data=!3m6!1e1!3m4!1snKlCl1mG02K_V47JAG79Aw!2e0!7i13312!8i6656?hl Tram tracks with visible sleepers https://www.google.com/maps/@52.5542076,13.4813746,3a,75y,96.06h,82.51t/data=!3m6!1e1!3m4!1sne80s4YmRsH2PUrzxcvTSw!2e0!7i13312!8i6656?hl And similiar tram tracks with the separate right-of-way https://www.google.com/maps/@52.5662216,13.5018718,3a,75y,315.02h,81.32t/data=!3m6!1e1!3m4!1sFkHS29dR1KzLkzMX5mHSiQ!2e0!7i13312!8i6656?hl

    Please note the catenary support.

Also, have you ever thought about making tram reversing loop with a station as a separete asset? https://www.google.com/maps/@52.57277,13.4948794,232m/data=!3m1!1e3?hl

is it possible to make a road with parking on center of the road? there was one, but it was taken down because the creator used his road's mesh and texture.
