Is there a mod to change the background of the region view? Something like the ones that change the city backgrounds when you're playing. 

 

So tired of the bland grid background when looking at the region. Cause it's only 2x2 lrg tiles, there is more background than region.

 

 

And a mod that changes the color of the dirt on the side of the city tile? Pretty sure I've seen one out there but having a difficult time finding it again.

I've seen all types of city background modds but I don't use them. Don't recall ones for Region's View. Hopefully someone can point you out to those.

Thanks for the info. I did come across the Oxisol one after sifting through all the "most popular" content. Didn't see the one by Equinox, though it looks better suited for Mars. 

 

I'll stick with the Oxisol one for now.

I use by Drunkapple. As far as I know, it's the only Region background available. However, I've not really looked for others, so I could be wrong...

 

Edit: There's also If I remember correctly (I haven't used it in a while), it eliminates the layered-like textures on the sides of the cities, giving it a 'flying carpet' appearance.

If you just want to reduce the number of automata that appear, you could change that in the games Graphic Settings. Just a thought...

Was familiar with the floating carpet one. Doesn't really appeal to me. Don't mind seeing the earth part, just tired of the bland greyish default color.

Thanks a lot. I'm almost sure that this mod will conflict with Neko wired poles, but the Neko sidewalk don't work with NWM, so I guess that the change will be worthy.

I believe the canal set is one by Japanese batter Moonlight but heavily modified by Jonathan (Kelis) or it maybe Jonathan's (he's great at customizing stuff).  Get Moonlight's canal set here (just scroll down)
