Good morning.  Can anyone help me identify the building near the center of this picture please?  It looks like many of the beautiful courthouses we have here in Texas.  And also the church in the second picture.  Thank you.

Does anyone know if the STEX has any craftsman houses or desert themed houses commonly found in planned communities of southwest cities such as Phoenix and Las Vegas. I have a desert themed cj, but in the desert southwest, almost all planned communities have desert themed houses, close to looking like craftsman houses (in my opinion) , and my cj is in the desert southwest...

The area of phoenix I live in is exactly what I'm talking about, these type of houses can be found somewhere in most metro areas of the desert southwest. If you do a street view on a random area you can see the kind of houses im talking about.

Can anyone recommend some good outdoor eating area's, cafe's ect preferably with tables and chairs ect?.

 

Can't remember one, but you can make your own. There is such a prop ingame, only it's quite small. I use it in my Plazas set on the STEX. Ill Tonkso has also posted such props. Maybe others too, but I can't remember any now.

There is a plugin out there that is a makeover for the maxis low density medium wealth lots that adds garages and trees and also allows them to grow on 1x1 lots.  I remember seeing it ages ago and cannot find it now.  I would appreciate any help here, thanks.

Though is are partly maxis lots, those are definitely not what I need, I need the 1X1 maxis relots, the person who did this re-lot of the maxis medium wealth buildings also excluded the European tileset, also what I am looking for.  I already have all of simcoug's stuff and Jmyers' stuff(his low wealth houses are epic and I use them exclusively as the ONLY low wealth houses in every city I make).

 

The ones I am talking about will actually replace the maxis lots.  Also I know they are on the STEX too, I just got done scouring the LEX and they are definitely not there.

Are the older versions of NAM still somewhere for download? Version 29 to be specific. It's a long and sordid thought process as to why I want it, but in short I concluded that I need nothing newer than 29 and that it may not have a minor bug that's present in version 30 which I currently use.

 

And no, before anyone asks I have no interest in NAM 31+. My goal is functional simplicity, not complexity.

Have you thought about installing just the core NAM 31? Just don't check much off during the install and you'll get a simple package.

In the end, I installed the simplest form of NAM 31 possible - then I went into the controller file and carved it down as much as I felt was safe using information Magneto gave me.

 

The issue with NAM 31 is not the fact many things CAN be installed, it's in the ghastly massive controller file that is full of things that have absolutely no use if you don't use their related components. For example, RHW and SAM. Those by themselves take up over 90% of the 'simple' controller file's 40 meg size. Even if you don't use either, the game still loads everything in the controller file...and this add tremendously to city load time.

A better approach would be to download the trees that are asked for in the readme of the respective plugin . Which industry plugin is that? for all I know, this could be crates or barrels or whatever.
