Hi all, I am working on re-lotting some coal power plants. Something has always bugged me, I can't find any kind of ore car unloading buildings or props. Mines load cars from above, but plants unload from below, and convey it into the plant. The Coal Collection on simpeg (http://www.simpeg.com/forum/index.php?topic=10302.0) is great, and that's my next stop to ask, but are there any rail fans here who have any ideas on what props buried in which packs could work for this?

Hi, everyone.

 

I did a preliminary search a while ago and actually found some information, but I'm a bit confused.

 

I want to remove all the streetlights from the game (temporarily, of course). I'm using the LRM currently, and from my research, I know there's a way to do it, but I think it involves altering some files (perhaps in the BAT editor or something)? I have no idea how to do that...so if anyone out there has any idea how to remove all streetlights from my streets/roads/etc., be it with mod or altering files in an existing mod, I'd be incredibly grateful. Thanks!

Hi Gurning_Chimp - I believe that the theatre on the left is a Maxis building - I do not recall it's name nor what tileset.  I'm not certain if the right one is a Maxis building too.  The same image led me to try to find it a while back.  It's a really nice Maxis building, who would have thought..

Here's a technique that I've found to work:

• On that topic, copy the link of any STEX upload. For example, the NFL Stadium by baco is: www.simtropolis.com/stex/index.cfm?id=988
• Notice the ID number at the end. Take note of this number, which in this instance is 988.
• In a new tab, copy and paste the following "template" into the address bar: community.simtropolis.com/files/file/
• You may want to repeat this for other tabs.
• Then at the end, type the ID number, followed by a dash (-) and a forward slash (/) as follows:
• Press Enter.
• If all goes to plan, the file should then be located.

 

For the ones which brings an "Error", try a quick Google search using:  site:simtropolis.com <Search Term>

Otherwise these uploads have most likely been lost or deleted.

I tested these - they were the direct links, hope they work:  To download, just look at the top right (before the pictures start) for the Korean characters followed by a number in brackets eg. (1) and a down arrow icon ↓.  Click on that link and choose the option that has the letter PC with it.
