  1. Commuting time bug?

    How much jobs do you have in the city and any of its neighbors? The Sims:Jobs ratio should be 2:1. Perhaps you just need more jobs. A suggestion would be to put some low-density commercial zones at major road intersections within your residential area. This will provide more jobs close to home for those particularly lazy sims, and is in keeping with RL where there are small commercial areas in a residential area with grocery stores and other shops. the current inhabitants are: 316.964 commercial jobs 114.377 industry jobs 62.673 (btw is it the same if i use hight density areas?

    okay sorry for the late answer...^^ however i have the NAM installed yeah the matter with the buildings is that sometimes they stay with no commuters (like they don't show anything when i click on them) and then they get abandoned after a few months...it's depressing, and also all the times i install a new neighborhood they all get the suitcase with the crossfire and get abandoned too

    Okay i have those gigantic high wealth buildings and most of the businesses in which their residents work are right around it or nearby... and it says that the commutting time is too long! and gets abbandoned... i can't take it anymore what do i have to do to reduce that blasted time!?

    there is something wrong with the funding for police, i recently put it to the maxim since the income of my city is extremely high, however when the year passed it drops to zero imediately what's going on?

    i downloaded it yesterday from steam mac version btw i downloaded only some buildings that can reduce pollution and the area 52, and the anti pollution trees porgram and nothing more. as starter i always zone low density and everything is connected Btw yeah it's in a new connection with neighboorhood you mean cities in the regions?

    guys i'd like to know where i could download the latest version of the NAM mod and i have also a problem with the demand, i start a new city in a new territory and i can't make the demand raise for anything, not even if i meet the requirements from the manual...is there a mod for that too? ^^

    my city arrived in the year 2512 so it's practically star treck's time This should be interest you Terrin, i noticed it in the topic you sent me: "This is true. But you can build perfectly good wormholes without ferries. All you have to do is set a travel type to run on a network where it currently doesn't run, and set the speed very high - it will be effectively instantaneous. For example, you could do this having trains run on monorail tracks. Then you would just create a bunch of puzzle pieces for underground monorail that would be very much like the basic set of puzzle pieces for underground rail. This way, the network would be effectively invisible. At the wormhole portals, you would have TE lots that would convert trains running on regular rail tracks (both passenger and freight) to trains running on monorail tracks, and vice versa. Trains would seem to disappear at the portal (since the monorail network continued underground) and reappear instantaneously at the exit portal, which could even be in another city. For someone who is good with puzzle pieces, this would be rather simple to implement." It seems it's actually possible but you'd need to create a new kind of underground track

    my idea was a series of teleporting devices, that could transfer the people from point A to B in 0 time and without problems of road congestion. To make it fair also a request of a good hi-tech level and advanced research facility would be added. Do you think it could be made?
