I'm in the process of rebuilding my plugins folder..

 

Im looking for the mod that adds about 15 new ordinances that do things such as keep your mayor rating up, as well as the education and safety values maxed out. 

 

It also raises demand for all of the zones. 

 

Any help would be awesome, thanks.

Don't ever use the ordinances that increase (max out) RCI Demands as those can actually break the game in today's modern mods standards.

I need to know how to create a new forum. I have a complicated sc4 problem that i cant find an answer to. Involving the economics and the resident average income. If anyone can help me start a forum that would help me greatly. I have been playing this game for years, but I have limited experience on simtropolis, or the internet in general, for that matter. PLEASE HELP. I dont know how.

When you go to the forum, near the upper right hand corner there is a button in black that says "Post New Topic"  Click that, type away, post it... That's all.

But since it's more complex than usual mods, that's why it comes as an installer. Just run this exe file and choose the "custom" installation. This will provide a range of options to install the necessary files into your plugins folder. You can configure this how you like. So before doing this, it'd be a good idea to read the provided documentation.

some people say MY DOCS others just say Plugin folder (I presume because mostly pros mod games) and know what "Plugins" folder is the correct one.

the GTM STEX is a better example--- My Docs plugin or Program plugin? this is my dilema... thanks again, ill wait for a response from a pro.

These days when you see a reference to 'Plugins' folder, practically 100% of the time it will be referring to the 'Documents' plugins folder unless otherwise stated. You may find some very old mods that reference the 'Program Files' plugins folder. but this was due to the practice of placing items that changed the characteristics of the game (Mods) there as opposed to items that were added to the game (Plugins). You may also find some of the official Maxis plugins that use an installer to place the items in the Program Files folder. These can also be moved to the Documents plugins.

 

For the most part, it is recommended to always use the Documents plugins. There are some possible disadvantages in using the Program Files folder and definite disadvantages in using both - but that's another story (if you're interested).

It's a shame because it is such a great stadium I hope somebody eventually can track it down or would be willing to share if they already have it, not to sure about the tip Tennis stadium people seem to have less idea where that is.

It's also a shame that DmScopio's site is no longer running. Anyone with any ideas where to get the GZ TV Tower would also be a great help.

One the upper right, you will see some Korean characters follow by (1) and a down arrow.  Click on it to get a pop up and then choose the option that has PC.

I've had Sim City 4 for about a decade, and install and uninstall, blah blah.. When 2013 came out I played that into a rage fit, but it got my city building inspired so I am coming back to SC4 but this time I am using Mods and doing it right.. Thats why I am asking $%&^! questions a decade after release and Mods, lol.. just history,.

If you want ONLY the grow version, delete the plop version and/or vice versa. You can keep both though, the growlot will grow the same.

Hi guys I am looking for any good quality terrain changing mods suitable for non tropical regions that are not in HD

 

I bold that because I am a victim of the steam hardware render graphics issue and whenever you try to load HD terrain mods, even on completely virginal tiles the game CTDs. Ive tried searching the STEX, and LEX for terrain, terrain mods, grass, rock etc and whilst there are good mods out there i am looking for something a little more comprehensive than singular mods like rock or water mods.

My only concern is they don't adapt visually, that is the models remain the left hand oriented ones despite working on an RHD game. I was really hoping for a version whose models also orient with the traffic driving side as well.

Really sorry to post again so soon. But I just stumbled across this. Did this actually get finished, correct me if I'm wrong but I'm assuming SimFox is the same SimFox that makes such epic CJ's on here. Anybody have any more info regarding this?
