@Playa1: If you are having troubles with brown boxes, then you are missing a dependency or dependencies for a Lot or BAT you downloaded. If you could tell us what you downloaded or what Lot/BAT the brown box is on, we can help you by providing the dependency/dependencies.

Alright. Now we can try to help you.

Now, what exactly doesn't work with Skimbo's Golf Pack and the Plaza Pack? Do they also have brown boxes, or are they missing props? Both of these problems are caused by missing dependencies, so in order to fix problems like these (assuming you are having these problems) you need to download these dependancies from either SimCity 4 Devotion's FiLEXchange or Simtropolis. (depending on what site the depenedency is from) If you don't have an account on the LEX, (FiLEXchange) then you will need to create one to download anything. Don't worry, it's quick and easy.

Here are the dependencies you need for all of the things you have downloaded to work:

And I'm not quite sure why the PPonds aren't working for you. I don't think there are any dependencies for that. Maybe try downloading the original PPonds: http://www.simpeg.co...a=view;down=492 (You'll have to register at SimPeg.com to download these, though.) This is possibly a dependency.

Also keep in mind that some dependencies for Lots/BATs also have dependencies. So in some instances, you'll have to download a dependency for a dependency, and so on and so forth...

Use the Street Side Mod to line your avenues with trees. There is also alot of other trees for MayorMode Ploppable here.

Create a folder in MyDocuments/Simcity4/Plugins and name it "Mods". Download the Mod you would like, open it with winzip, read the readme that usually comes along with it and download all the dependencies it says that it needs and put only thegamefiles (modfiles) into the MyDocuments/Simcity4/Plugins/Mods folder that you just created.

It should work now in the game.

Need a mod, if one exists, to remove the built-in Maxis Landmarks from my menus (and from the game, period). I never use them and that menu is used for other things as well. I don't seem to have them in my plugins, so I assume they are in one of the .dat files. All advice and help gratefully received.

Usually the Maxis LM's are found in the C/Programfiles/Maxis/Simcity4/Plugins folder, did you have a look there ? Mine are.

Hi guys, i'm trying to find a specific highway sign pack, quite an old one i think but still my favourite. It consisted of several blue and green signs on a 1x1 lot that when placed next to the road hung over slightly. Off the top of my head some of the signs read destinations including 'Industrial District' 'City North' 'City Hall' 'Airport' etc I know most signs probably say that so may not be much help worth asking.

I also managed to find some old screenshots in my documents folder which happen to have the signs in but from a far off zoom so theyre hard to make out, hopefully someone might recognise them?

If anybody has a clue what I'm talking about and can give me the link to where the file has gone or even the name of the file it would be well appreciated! Thanks!
