I was wondering if there is a mod that brings together a lot of the Japanese custom buildings and makes them a new architectural style, or tileset for growable buildings. I've read of some mods, but the ones I've found just replace default buildings; are there any that just add architectural styles to the game. Also, any new tilesets I can download in addition to the Japanese tileset?

If by "tileset" you mean adding a set to the four that exist in the game, then no, that is not possible. As you mentioned, there are mods that create a specific environment but not a new tileset.

It is because the tilesets are another thing that is coded into the .exe file. We are not allowed to alter that. It would be breaking the law.

A couple of days ago I downloaded a set of lots that were called "Back Alley" . There are 6 lots I believe. These lots have tripled my enjoyment of SimCity. I was up until dawn this morning going over my industrial areas, removing all the roads I've had to place to get to those pesky industries that pop up without access roads, Now I can just remove the offending industry and plop in some alleyway(s) and end up with a much more realistic looking city. Well, to make a long story short - too late now, I know - I want to thank whoever designed this set of lots. I"ve been SimCitying for years, but only a year ago, or so, discovered the SC4 website. That alone made my life complete, or so I thought. Once the SC4 website went down I started looking for a site like it. Then I found Simtropolis. I can't believe I've been missing out on all the fun for so long. Again, thanks to all those who design these wonderful toys. P.S. Are there any other lots like the Alley lots? Something that I can just plop into a problem area? Never mind. After a small amount of time I found PLENTY!

Where is the Network Addon Mod? I can't find it anymore. I also noticed that a lot of files I favorited are gone. I need to redownload a lot of files cause I lost all my sim city 4 files.

Hello!

I hope I'm posting on the right place... Well, i'm trying to get back to Sim City after a long time, and I'm looking for a good Lisbon map... I think I found it here:

However, the necessary "plugins1.zip" link, which I believe is the height mod necessary for that map (with the 1000m.dat), is broken... I searched all internet for that file and can't find it... Any help is welcome...

Here is a file on the STEX that adds road-side parking. It only adds it to streets though, and I'm not sure if it's the style you're looking for.

uhm I need the day of peace prop from the sim city page.

Problem is, either I can't access the site at all (get's stuck in loading mode) or every try to log in ends up at the login screen as if I entered wrong name/pw, but they are correct.

Any ideas where to get it from instead?

There's no mod, but you might find a plopped-water set that includes an over-hanging piece that extends under bridges. Or here's a tutorial that explains a different method that may help.

Not planning on a land bridge. I am asking, like if I use a PEG pond and make a river, and a cross a road over it, will it make a little short concrete bridge or is there a mod for that? I am not talking about maxis bridges crossing over a river. Just want my road to cross over a PEG pond river.

No, there's no mod that will make a bridge over plopped water since it's not real game water, just a texture change. If you get Peg's PPond set (I don't remember the exact name), I believe that it includes pieces that appear to have bridge halves that fit up against roads, making it appear to be a bridge. I'll see if I can dig up a link.

Here's a couple you might try out: Culverts or Fords. There's also the PPond Canal Kit that contains other bridge pieces.
