Does obliterating a city affect demand?

I restarted a city via obliteration, and it started with very high CO$$$ demand, but no other commercial demand, plus I can't get High Tech industry demand up no matter what I do--I have nearly full education and it's taxed at 0.1% (That's far lower than anywhere else in the region), so I don't know what's wrong. -
Is There a Way to Rename a City to Something With More Than One Word?

I am aware of the "whererufrom" cheat, but it apparently doesn't allow more than one word as the new name. (You can enter more, but only the first will save.) Is there a better way? -
Alright; it's outdated. Can I update it without damaging my current city files and mods?

Do all the lights go off, or only some of them? The lampposts stay on, but the lights emanating from buildings turn off. I'm sorry, but what is "Sim-time?" The Deluxe version; the one that includes the core game and Rush Hour on the same disk.

In my game, the lights come on initially at night, but eventually they turn off. Is this the same problem with the same solution?

If by "tileset" you mean adding a set to the four that exist in the game, then no, that is not possible. As you mentioned, there are mods that create a specific environment but not a new tileset. Why isn't it possible?

Hello; I have been interested in the Japanese architecture mods used in various Youtube videos, but since most of them are on Japanese links, I'm not sure how to download them. I was wondering if there is a mod that brings together a lot of the Japanese custom buildings and makes them a new architectural style, or tileset for growable buildings. I've read of some mods, but the ones I've found just replace default buildings; are there any that just add architectural styles to the game. Also, any new tilesets I can download in addition to the Japanese tileset?
