While everyone is trying to reduce problems with traffic in the city, such as traffic jams, large car queues and such.
I'm going in the other direction.
I want to see the streets of my city clogged with cars, lots of cars
To try to solve the problems consequent of this greater flow.
I have the MAN 35, but I do not know how to use the Traffic Controller that comes along.
I also have CAM.
Someone has a tip that works.
No mod that increases RCI demand (unrealistic).

@Haljackey is your shepherd, of nothing you will lack.

Basically, the denser the edifications you allow to grow, the more traffic you'll have. Surely the Colossus Addon Mod will be a handy addition to your plugins (keep in mind is a hard-to-use mod, is not just to put it on the folder and see the magic disenvolves)

There are also a couple of mods you can use to have the game show more traffic. By default the cars, trucks, and buses fade away after a short amount of time. These mods do not affect RCI in any way.

Ofc, only use one and read the description as you will have choices for how much traffic you want to show and which .dat file to use.

If you are a NAM user, I would advise not to use these mods. An Equivalent Persistent Automata Mod exists as part of the NAM installer. In addition to special "Radical" variant which will greatly increase the number of cars you see in game. Use of a mod may conflict with those from the NAM. In short, the NAM makes them redundant.

Note however, more automata does not equal more cars. Automata are just a visual thing, whilst it's somewhat relative to the number of sims using the streets, adding such a mod won't actually increase the number of cars the simulation has driving about.

The real solution (although I think you'd like the Persistent Radical Automata setting), is to grow your cities which is simply a matter of time. I'd be careful not to rush this process too much, but if you are building new things, it will happen sooner or later. Use of CAM and very large buildings will surely help here.

Head over to my Lot and Mod Shack to keep abreast of my latest developments.

Do you like custom textures, but don't like all the work involved creating them?, take a look at the Texture Automation options here. Change the look and feel of your transit networks, with the minimum of effort, for example customised versions of my Sidewalk NAM (SWN) and Terrain Grass NAM (TGN) mods, and much more besides.

New to the NAM? Check out my tutorials on YouTube. Latest upload: How to: RHW - MHO Roundabout Interchanges. (Nov 25).

p.s. - I'm MGB over on SC4D and a member of the NAM team.

While the best solution would be to grow your cities and plan networks carefully so they are highly utilized by cars, there are also things called traffic generators, which do generate purely visual automata. As rsc explained, this will have zero impact on network congestion - everything you see is simply visual representations.

I guess the adequate solution will depend on why do you want to have heavy traffic in the city. If you want to have your traffic network overloaded, that will come along when you start densifying your city and with neighbor connections. Setting the persistent automata option in the NAM is a good thing, removing bridges and things like this helps a lot. If you want gridlock and jams only for the visuals for CJing, for example, or just to take a nice picture of a jammed area, you can use traffic generators like those posted by nos.17. They are useful when the entire city is not functional, just plopped, but you just want the aesthetics of it.

Since you do not even use the NAM for the paths then  maybe be more interested  for one self-explanatory separate controller to adjust the game features more according to your preferences.

Try this one -  SC4CONFIG

Also, whenever pursuing visual effects, be sure that your graphics setting is at maximum detail (and hasn't slipped due to any patch, reinstall or upgrade since the last time you checked).

My city is expanding fast. Soon I will have many problems with the transit yes. This mod, even not inflating the traffic graphics, already helps me a lot, just for visual reason ta good. Thank you!

Try using all streets instead of Roads. Upgrade to roads only when streets are beyond full.
