BTW the international airport is amazing!! love the the design and I would love to see more of the intl airport in daylight. ps I cant wait to show my project im working on- a recreation of kensai airport!!

Thank you! And your project sounds really interesting. Other stuff I've seen from you look great soo looking forward to it!

I will post more pics and this will eventually be a CJ as well. I want to reach a size of 150k and complete som projects first. The reason for the night shots of the airport is because some areas are not finished and it doesn't show as much :). I might complete this area in the weekend though!

ohhh and another question, what is the asset you use for the bridge that connects the jetways?

I think it's from this pack :

That's also where I got the stand alone jet bridges. Or from one of his separate uploads. They are actually very good assets and add a lot of flexibility and details.

Looks all right to me but then I'm used to seeing trainsets from 2 cars to 9 cars.

Suburb expansion project. Going for a more low density city with this one with only high density in the immediate core.

Have to put tree fillers between the houses (if I have enough trees left). Going for the none linear approach to the suburbs in an attempt to make them look leafy.

Lienne International, terminal 1. Currently redoing all detailing because it was originally done a long time ago...

this is really impresive, reminds me of JFK airport. the costume markings and asphalt are very nice (using them in my kensai build ), hope to see more of your airport :)

Always get a ton of inspiration here when i have my short stints of cities:skylines tunnelvision, so here's a few screens from a recent project i've now abandoned (horrible traffic/want to make something different).

Layout changes to the rail station and integrating it better in to my city. The highway has been sunk to provide buildable land. In the meantime I have so many passengers coming out and going straight for the bus that services simply cannot cope

There is a tram stop in the nearby public square with three trams but no one is using it. I might need to alter the layout further to centralise bus services into an island in the middle..

Not been busy with the detailing and I need to find something to reskin the road. Grey might work in suburban areas but not in the city. I want blacktop.

That looks really good. My only critique would be that there would probably be some kind of fence/wall separating the shantytown and that avenue to the left. I would think anyway.

I've been trying to find some real-world inspiration for one of these shantytowns. I know there are some in Seattle and San Fran.

A few props I'd like to see on the workshop would be some weathered, dirty camping tents which I've seen in a lot of real homeless areas, and a few old, dirty couches, maybe one with cushions, one missing a cushion. Something like that.

I'm familiar with the ones in South America like Buenos Aires and Rio de Janeiro. But what I'm looking for are American examples, preferably western US. I'm building a Southern California city, so I need examples that fit into that. Thanks though.

New station square and interchange. Most buses still stop at the bus station down town but all services heading north will stop there. Two Metrolink lines serve the square. I'm gonna look to see what decorations I can get and turn half of it into a public garden or something. The footbridges can be lowered I think. Some of the roads will also need adjusting and eventually decals when I get used to plopping decs.

Continuing my work on Iron River Valley region.   The main city that sprung up around the Iron River Steel Mill is now called Ironchester.  Growth is blocked to the north by Evergreen Hills State Park, so most of the sprawl has extended to the south and west over the river.  There are some upscale housing developments and Evergreen Hills Country Club to the north.  Fairview University is to the east.

Not pictured to the south are some industrial areas such as some large distribution centers, a chemical plant, cement factory and the Iron River Valley Rail Yards (an older version can be seen in the Show You Rails thread).

URYanzn.jpg

For the Downtown Ironchester, I really want to keep that feeling of an older, mid sized industrial city like Pittsburg or Buffalo that is gradually transitioning to modern.  Mostly older buildings, but a couple modern skyscrapers that look like the architect tried to blend the old with the new.

The old Viaduct District (so named for the stone viaduct that leads to one of the three main river crossings).

Iron River Valley Mall  the north of Evergreen Mountain.  The farmland to the left (north) will be a site of future housing development.

Cement factory south of Ironchester.  A chemical plant is also visible in the upper left corner.20170317214849_1.thumb.jpg.2a5f9919599985c19ee514ff50f80584.jpg
