This looks really good. It almost looks like a photo. Nice work.

By the way, what are those silver posts on the corners?

Hey, sorry for the late reply, holidays and all. Those bollards are apparently props that come with the NeXT Mod. There isn't a link to it on the workshop I can give you if you want just the bollard, but if you have the search mod for C:S just search bollard for props and it'll pop up.

Pfft... You think that's bad @Pottermeis4? Wait until you see this gallery of images from a run-down bus station I created. The socioeconomics are so poor in my diesel-stained hellhole, I bet half the residents can't even spell their own names:

Enjoy! :-)

Cool idea! I would go easier on the foliage though. From my own experience with abandoned railroad tracks it seems like it takes forever for trees to grow on the tracks.

It's true that these trees could easily be older than the tracks... I think that alongside wild grass and bushes, birch trees are one of the first trees to grow in abandonned industrial areas. The "Young birch tree" on the workshop that I almost never see used could probably fit nicely in these kind of "industrial biomes". Poplar trees seem to fall into this category as well, looking at the town of Tchernobyl :)

That would be a good choice I think.

I'm going to be honest,I improved so much in realism since my first time on simtropolis.I have no intention on quitting making realistic cities from now.Anyways, here's a couple photos of a small apartment complex and a walking path or whatever you call it.C1wINk3.jpg7MqNF3e.jpg

Not the most perfect signing, but good practice.

Nah, it looks fairly allright now. I see a lot of people kill their pictures with too much detail than is necessary - the textures are good, the infrastructure interesting, there's already a fair lot of detail, obviously the city isn't finished and there could be signs, etc. but it's fairly good as it is.

Working on an airport and a completely new Cathnoquey map, it's not perfect, but I'm getting there. (modified St Martin map)

Working on a river-walk a little like in San Antonio,Texas. Using MoveIt! to place on top of quays and generally place a lot of things where I normally wouldn't be able to. I think it is coming along pretty nicely! Just a few screenshots of a couple of parts of it, can't see it all in so few pictures. I'll make a imgur album of the whole thing once it's completed.

How do your planes even get on the runway? It looks nice and all, but it's not a very functional runway if your planes require you to cross the grass or use one of those tiny paths (unless they're taxiways) in the middle of the runway, where they'd have to then go and U-turn at the end of said runways
Could be perspective, though :>
