How do your planes even get on the runway? It looks nice and all, but it's not a very functional runway if your planes require you to cross the grass or use one of those tiny paths (unless they're taxiways) in the middle of the runway, where they'd have to then go and U-turn at the end of said runways
Could be perspective, though :>

Heya Linoa06!

Actually the paths you see are not taxiways, but service paths for road vehicles.

Take a look at the shot below, and you will see its a functional airport (works in game aswell)

Working on a new map. I'm not sure if those proper roads will move to the actual city when I start it. If not, they're just there whilst I plan layouts anyway. It's loosely inspired by Auckland.

How do you create convincing looking mountains and that anyway?

Nice work so far! You can import height maps in the map editor. FreshpopcornYT made a tutorial recently:

Working on a Miami themed city. A lot of the R$ is just filler as I can't find good assets that emulate what the older art deco 70's architecture is in the city. Other wise it's been fun. Very WIP photos right now.

Love it!

Looks really good.

Question, what's the building in this picture, near the foreground. It's white or light gray, low-rise, with windows all along the side and two-levels to the roof? There are two of them facing opposite directions.

Do you mean this one? If so, that's a vanilla asset called 'Central Hotel' under the tourism specialization.

That's the one. Are you sure it's vanilla? I've been through every building in the asset editor and I don't recall ever seeing it. Is it maybe part of one of the creator DLC packs?

I do have the creator packs, specifically the art deco one. Here's what it shows up as in my game.

Sunset on the Timucua Beach strip. Looking north to south from North Beach. Also, my LODs are a hot mess.

Map work coming along. Might be finished with terraforming. Just creating some artificial fields now. Almost hit the 250,000 tree limit.

Iron River Valley

I want it to feel like an old Rust Belt steel town.  The map is Snake River (which I think is based off of Ohio).  The steel mill below makes extensive use of RICO buildings and props and is largely inspired by the Bethlehem Steel plant in Pennsylvania near where I went to college.  From the regional shot, you can see the 1 mile square Public Land Survey System grids, invoking a location further west such as Michigan.

For my San Francisco CJ I experimented with some props and Moveit Mod to recreate these "lifted" houses. I used shed props to work as garages and some stair props to connect to the house. Needs work, obviously, but maybe others can take these ideas and use them in their cities.

Thank you for the kind words! My city is only detailed in some places, but the airports were projects that I spent quite some time on.

If you mean the little building that I created as a general aviation or private charter terminal it's actually the luxury boutique 1B by Ngon originally together with the Boformer bank...

Quite the combination but if you don't zoom in to much it works!

The City Airport is the second largest in Lienne. The International airport is a really big hub with it's two terminals.

The approach is with a great view of the city.
