Impressive! :thumb:

Love the highway system and how the city naturally flows around it.

Just started this one. I built the sunken highway first then the downtown, airport and port.

Dear sir/madam/whoever will read this!

This profile is now defunct.

Computer problems and issues with accessing my Imageshack account meant My SC4 CJ Scrapbook was lost and utterly irretrievable. This setback put me off SC4 for many months.

Apologies for the inconvenience and for the lost pictures.

But that SC4 itch did not go away and it had to be scratched! I have started afresh with a new account here- The British Sausage

The URS is a spiritual successor to the SC4 CJ Scrapbook.

With this update this will be the last time I visit my original Simtropolis account- admin/mods feel free to remove it or do whatever you need to do. I have no further use for the Ln X (BLANKBLANK) account.

With regards, Miles Saunders-Priem aka. Ln X aka. The British Sausage

Here's my city as of now, simply named Williamsburg.

I plan on creating a City Journal once it's "done". =)

Started a new city to try out the new AD features and some mods which had been developed over the summer months where I didn't play C:S very much.  Needless to say, the "Realistic Population and Consumption" mod requires you to really sprawl low density before you finally unlock the higher density zoning.

Also, can anybody tell that I like mixed-up grids?

Correlation doesn't imply causation, but it does waggle its eyebrows suggestively and gesture furtively while mouthing 'look over there'. - xkcd.com

This reminds me like a tiny version of Phoenix. I like it!

City of Centennial I am currently working on, not quite a clean as I'd like, but the mountains terrain and rivers have become rather challenging. Currently sitting at 140k.

Great pic! :) May I ask what LUT are you using?

For you music lovers out there:
All the music from SimCity in Comprehensive SimCity Music Collection

All my remixes of it in SimCity 2000 Music ReTexture

Enjoy! ;)

My CD is on iTunes. Check it out!!!

Stunning area view, BarbulaM1, looks incredibly realistic!

Cromabianca: I think the LUT I used is either Natural Color or realLUT (I'm not 100% sure because I regularly switch between a number of LUTs - these two are the most likely culprits).

Right at the edge of Appalachia

Did you use all 25 tiles?

To make it look less cut off, you can use the Cross The Line mod to build roads in the locked area. And maybe plant some trees ;)

This is my little town and well tiny is more the word with only 4800 Cims, but as you can see the Cimtographer image it is coming a long nicely. I used the Googlemaps Maperative rules for the image hopefully will look better once the city gets larger. :)

I like planning ahead with my district layouts though some of these roads are likely to get moved around anyway.

Ignore some of those railway lines if they look like they turn too tightly or they look pointless, they'll be sorted out eventually. Don't like how awkward that cargo hub is with the railway either. I'd prefer it not to have to use a bridge over the water to connect the rail up.
