Welcome to the Random Project. This particular BAT thread, independent from my Mass Effect themed Mass Effect: The Milky Way BAT Project, the Random Project is nothing more than a themeless creative board where I create something or anything, that doesn't necessarily fit any general catergory. Or simply put it this way. It's my BAT thread that is unrelated to Mass Effect: TMW. The projects here may be general and useful buildings, Science-Fiction themed or some other outright random BAT that makes no sense etc. Most of these BATs will be from small projects within my active CJs.

 

Anyways, here are some things I might release since they're just lying idle in my Plugins folder.

 

 

*Also, I wouldn't mind taking requests on Personalized City signage so long as I have time. If you want one made by me, then all you have to do ask.

Is there a tutorial or someone who could help me develop functioning automata for SC4? I haven't the knowledge to develop them, so really, I can only go as far as BATing a model and using them as props.

I made something plain, modern, simple and generic. It's a 2x2 W2W corner office, dubbed Huston Corporation Municipal Offices. Not sure what'll happen to it. But ehh, have a look anyway. Gonna try finishing it off during the day

Here's another building here I'm working on. Completely from the top of my head, which is, granted not the best design. It's ugly, but I was wonder if anyone thought this was worth pursuing

Lol, I'm actually still trying to test the abilities of my laptop with 3dsMax. It's 7 years old and has poor processing power, so it usually is very picky about what it can and can't render. I've had a few projects I've had to give up on for ME:TMW cause it couldn't render them

 

But so far for this tower, it's going pretty well

Haha, if only SimCity lags badly, I actually can't simulate relatively sized towns, let alone an entirely city covered tile. It's prone to crashing. That's why I've almost given up on city-building and create scenes instead.

Cheers my friend! I gave up on large tiles city now and is currently focusing on medium tile city but even them at pinnacle growth lags badly and crashes to the desktop that is why I also don't like posting super aerial views and region views because you can definitely see that its like North and South Korea, the upper half full of vanilla and the lower half which is modded as you can see in my current updates.

This is mostly ready to be rendered for the STEX, [except I'll be tweaking the night-lights in the upper floors] but if you have any input in something that I could edit to improve the BAT, I could revise it a bit

I've thought about adding a sunroof like area at the top, but completely sealed with no windows, just to fill up the empty space a bit at the top...

 

 

I've tried to keep it relatively simple, but not too simple so my laptop could render it with what little memory it has to spare

Irk. I got the final design, but I think I over-estimated the height/scale. But besides that, how do you like the final design?

It's a bit oversized. It looks like a 3*3 lot is more proper.

Besides, it's an amazing BAT and I'm sure you're capable to make something real big.

Interesting BAT, I will wait for this in the STEX. Dang, I really want to make my own BAT too...
