Every game I bought from EA was released before 2008. And since I have heard nothing but horror stories about EA and Origin, I'm staying away from them. In the meantime, here's a cycle that could apply to any publisher (Activision, i'm looking at you..)

Pretty much sums up the public reaction to The Sims 4, especially with the "gameplay" video released just recently and all the stuff that should be in the base game at launch being taken out for future DLC's with a $9.99 on the side. 

 

Typical EA at its finest. 

SimCity 4, it's not a game; it's a work of art.

By that, I guess you mean a medium crash with general destruction (head crash, power system fail, etc.).  These are more in the disaster than crash category.  Every had a disk fail?

I lost a terabyte disk last year.  Fortunately it contained only backup files, so was easy to replace but I know that sinking feeling.
