I passed 15 years on this site last month, I first started coming here when the site had the green sign with a dark background that showed the number of members. Been playing SimCity 4 since the month it first came out in January 2003.

Just casually passing by ST to celebrate, exceptionally, my 11th ST anniversary a day before January 28th!  Probably I will be quite busy tomorrow, so I won't have a chance to sit and post. Sorry I haven't been much active lately, been quite busy lately searching for a new job and whatnot. But still, this first round of virtual beer (non-alcoholic and gluten-free options available as well) and virtual cake at midnight is on me. Cheers, ST!

I'd just like to take a moment to acclaim a notable annual milestone...

Today marks exactly 5 years since Cori joined Simtropolis and set foot in the SC4 community for the first time.

From her early days of posting humble first farming pics, to writing tutorials including cloud mapping and building those magnificent Shoppes too, it's already been quite the journey. It was only a year and a half before Dirk picked her to be an admin alongside me. Since then (as many of you will know), we've become CoriBoom in how our friendship leads the way in all we do. During these 1,826 days and counting, there have been so many magnificent memories. More than can be surmised in this quick post here too, as there's been countless adventures and continued fun-filled projects. We're both so delighted to be a part of this community, and long may this continue.   

Cori joining Simtropolis has been a true blessing. Her arrival has proved the catalyst for what ST has become now, and what we'll continue to strive towards shaping the community for the betterment of everyone here. Big and small we can collectively make a difference. Everyone is important since we're all special in our own ways, and often this just needs realising. We each reside here in one of the brightest (and bestest) corners of the internet, and it's an absolute everlasting delight to be part of this place.

I remember the 1st Day´s, after i joint. I was looking for the Files of Peang and some Mods... after i found em, and get those... i stayed here since today.

Well its been 2 years since my last post. I'm back again!  I've been a member of Simtropolis for almost 18.5 years now. Crazy to think if I had a child when I joined Simtropolis it would be graduating High School now!

This year I will be hitting 10 years of Simtropolis membership. Although I have never created a file, and my life has caused inactivity at times, I return regularly and always try to remain active where possible.

I can’t believe it’s been over 20 years since I joined Simtropolis! I started playing again in 2023, hoping to release something special for the game’s 20th anniversary. I still hold onto that dream—maybe someday soon. It fills me with so much joy and a deep sense of nostalgia to see Simtropolis not only still standing but thriving as a passionate and dedicated community after all these years.

With barely 10 minutes left, today is the day my account finally becomes old enough to vote and drink.  I have been a member of this site for 18 years now, though not always active throughout that time until a few years recently.

Logged on to Simtropolis today for the first time in 10 years, can't believe it's now just over 20 years since I joined.  It was such a big part of my life for years and still gets a mention in my CV/resume!  I was really sad to read about A Nonny Moose in the header, he was a great person. I wasn't sure whether the website would still exist so I'm really pleased that the community is still here and going strong. Just seeing my avatar, custom member label and awards brings back so many great memories.
