@simmering I've never looked into FA2 & FA3 props and I'm not sure what's involved.  I've seen a few lots for them but that's all. As for diagonal dock props, that's already in the works; it just takes time since I only have one windows pc. My others are linux and I'm unsure if gmax will work in wine.

Working on the diagonal dock props. The corner piece still needs work and there will be a right corner piece too. Actually, almost every piece will have a diagonal piece. The prop pack will be around 25MB give or take a bit.

This is very exciting! I’m actually working on a rerun of my Port of Tyrell series and am learning Blender for this exact purpose. Are you planning your own diagonal crane models, or is this designed with Linus van Pelt Harbour Cranes Set in mind?

@ncamferdam I'll be using those cranes, the ones from tag-one and also the those pegasus made. Variety right. That said since I've pretty much moved to linux, I'm setting up blender 5.01 now that memo has b4blender working.

I was away on holiday (Chiloé Island, whose church architecture is sorely missing in the game), but I came back home on Friday and I've just made this little temple on a hill:

I'm also working on a big CJ update —one I had actually started last year (lol) and wanted to have ready by Christmas, but the holidays were a busy season for me, then I went away, and now I'm making hilltop temples instead of getting on with it so… maybe next week? Who knows.

That´s all of the Belton Lofts that I wanted to relot. I tried combining diagonal parking spaces with vortext ground textures but it didn´t really look nice, so I scrapped that and redid the 8x8 lot with orthogonal parking.

I've been putting together some common layouts of American postwar garden apartments, using a Maxis prop!

Includes various sizes and shapes - these are commercial CS$ lots so they'll grow along busy corridors on oddly shaped lots, just as they do in real life!

Some wonky sizes include 5x10, 4x8, 4x7, 7x7, 7x4, 3x5, etc - these are really handy for lightly densifying residential areas, while providing a few jobs to corridors that may be underserved.

I set up the courtyards for these first models really similarly to each other, for uniformity. This way you can achieve a 'complex' look using multiple repetitions of similar lots. 

There will also be some smaller standalone lots, as appear irl

This entire project uses an invisible building model and a maxis prop, the Army Base Office. Funny thing is, these apartments irl were originally an adapted barracks design!
