First attempt at BATing seasonal flora. The animation has each season lasting the same amount of time, but I've modded the prop so that the spring version appears in March and April (2 months), the summer version appears from May through September (5 months), and the fall version appears in October and November (2 months).

Not sure how to avoid the unsightly divot effect I'm getting in the center of the spring and fall models. It's kind of spoiling the effect of having the flowers clustered together.

Size comparison of buildings with @mattb325 Capital Building. I am doing this because some Maxis buildings are underscaled or overscaled so in my opinion @mattb325 buildings have a balanced scale considering the MAxis criteria of scale which is very irregular (sims compared to cars automatas, trees, buildings)...Anyway, at the end is just for fun...but seriously.

I've made a start on the old Australasian Steam Navigation Company Headquarters on Sydney Harbour. One of those grand 19th century warehouses.

It's probably less than 60% done...it won't be a recreation (due to Sydney's steep topography, it is 5 floors high on one elevation and 3 floors on the other side, so I have picked 4 floors), and it also has very odd angles along one street frontage which I have squared off)

So I started working on my region a few weeks ago, and decided I needed to create a small town to kick start the economy. It's a work and progress. Still needs a lot of finishing and touching up, but here's a pic near main street. The town is very loosely based off of, or inspired by, Fredericksburg, TX:

Meanwhile, way out in the hills, I put some of those new ploppable modern villas to use. These are about 15 miles away from the main metropolis, I think they'd be some nice little vacation homes for some of the more well off residents:
