I love and thank you

The Pisans and Florentines cannot be talked about, always at war :-D

I hope in a future a typical city hall in  mediaeval style

Will those be published ? (she asks,  drooling)

Not sure? If I release them, I'd like them to have era-adaptive props so they can be used interchangeably between historic and modern cities, but that would take a bunch of extra work to implement, both in terms of creating the prop files and creating new lot iterations for each farm. The current farms also rely on a bunch of personal custom content (prop exemplars, building exemplars, modded farm fields, custom textures, etc.) that would make them a bit time-consuming to package and release.

I actually find all of that work enjoyable, so I'm eager to do it if I have the time. However, I've been very busy with personal and professional projects the past few months. My workload derailed a bigger project of R$ lots I'd been working on last year, so it's hard to say if I'd have time to get these on the STEX/LEX.

That said, if it seems like there's significant interest in having these lots available (in one version or another), I might plug away at putting something releasable together.

I'm leaning towards #2, but I might be a little biased in my choice. I don't want to slant your decision with my tilted views!

I would lose the graffiti and make a brand signage. Graffiti artists tend to do their works on more visible buildings, not down by warehouse districts. JMO. Also black mold and copper gutters would be a nice touch. All in all, nice work by both of you.

The murals will stay, also the brand sign is in the front (last pic) The roof caps and gutters and down spouts are made with copper and copper leafing. Copper does not stay shiny after a century thus the greenish hue on them.

I'm glad you're keeping the murals, they're my second favourite thing about the building. (if you were wondering, my favourite part is that amazingly grungy rear door)

Not that you should feel the need to follow through this request, but is there any chance of releasing a prop version of this without the graffiti? I'd love to lot this if there's a version that fits into older cities.

Playing with Transit Enabling Lots. LBT has markets on streets, but they weren't network enabled. As a test with the SC4 Tool I wanted to see if I could make it connect to the network. What I want to do now is make my own props that overhang, so that it will only take up 1x1 of street.

I very much like the murals    I don't see them as graffiti and IMO most appropriate would be as I-M but CS works for me too     incredible beautiful grunge textures

and grungy details with doors and windows

As someone from a stereotypical “older, post-industrial” city, you hit the nail on the head with this.  In my experience graffiti...and these here are murals, not graffiti, folks...is usually uninspired tags and gang BS, at least in the States.  That’s not what Simmer has done here.

Some of St. Louis’ best murals and tags are on small commercial and warehouse buildings...particularly flood walls in this town...in off the beaten path neighborhoods.  The City tends to clean up the prominent stuff unless it was publicly commissioned.  See the Mural Mile.

Small note of self-defense -- I viewed the renders on my phone before replying, so it was a bit hard to make out the murals. I know a lot of Simmer's other older industrial buildings have tags on them, so I assumed that's what I was seeing. I've seen some beautiful graffiti work in my life, but it's probably not the word I'd have used if I had viewed the renders on my desktop.

I should also note that I really love this look for modern city-building, and I feel similarly about Simmer's other buildings that have murals or graffiti tags on them. That said, as someone who creates a lot of late 19th century and early 20th century cities, it's always bittersweet to find a building that feels like a perfect fit for historic city-building, but which has one or two really prominent anachronisms baked into the BAT.

I don't think it's a big deal for many other players, and it's not meant as a knock against Simmer's stylistic/artistic choices. Just a small personal note based on how I play the game and me wishing I could use more of Simmer's BATs in my cities.
