Baltimore rowhouses first test in game, shown next to some other rowhouses.  These babies are long!  Still not fully textured but most of the model is in place.

You have to get the 'formstone' texture just right :)

Nice!

Ouch this is interesting. Do textures have to be aquare? I tried to resized them in inkscape, applyed them in the BAT and had this as outcome.

I like the depth of the buildings -- the dimensions look realistic to me, especially for homes as narrow as the ones that you're modeling. Looking forward to how these shape up.

Not sure if you've seen this already, but I feel like you might enjoy Romualdillo's R$ series:

Made some houses for FAR2. I'm thinking about making lots of recolors with different models and assembling a prop family. What do you guys think about the modeled driveways? They look pretty snappy in the game but if there is a compelling reason not to include them, let me know.

What other FA content do you want to see in your game??

These look fantastic Sloppyjoeness! Speaking as someone who does re-lotting that modeled driveways make a model more difficult to work with. Would save some effort if you released a regular orthogonal set along with the FARs *:thumb:

Those houses are absolutely great! About the driveways: How about modelling them separately and making them props (probably overhanging)? You could add them to the lot in LE and if anyone doesn't like them, they could be easily removed.

These look exceptional, and as someone who doesn't use a lot of FAR content, I'm crossing my fingers that you'll also create some orthagonal versions. I would get a lot of mileage out of these.

As for the driveways, I agree with what other people are saying in that I think it makes more sense to model them as separate props. As someone who relots a lot of content, I tend to avoid anything where paths, driveways, and other ground-based elements are baked into the main model, since it doesn't allow for a lot of flexibility. I'd suggest doing the same thing with the paths at the front of the houses. If you're trying to get the shadows to match up with everything else, you can always render them that way. (There are a number of creators who render one side of smaller props as "shaded" for this purpose. CP's prop packs are filled with a bunch of examples.)

"Scaley" is right -- this one is superb.

Nice color scheme -- excellent balance between the stone fountain and the stone pavement.  Nice trees.  GREAT Napoleon statue.  This would make an excellent roundabout -- or a wonderful centerpiece for a larger plaza !

In Italy, for thirty years under the Borgias, they had warfare, terror, murder, and bloodshed.  But they produced Michael Angelo, Leonardo Da Vinci, and The Renaissance.

In Switzerland, they had brotherly love and five hundred years of peace.  And what did that produce?

The cuckoo clock !

I would very much like to see this one released -- not to mention the equestrian Wilhelm.  I have a dockyard that could use them!  You know how much "Willie" loved to sprinkle his statues around ! *:thumb:

That's stellar advice. I will look into that. Thanks!!

Honestly, releasing ortho versions wasn't even really on my radar, but I can include them in the download. I'll definitely remove the driveway models in that scenario.
