I think the white roof should be a yellowish or grayish tile, or maybe copperplated or tin.

@RRetail Love the model, any chance of a version thats tight to the edge of the lot? Would look great as a small commercial strip in the middle of a residential area without a car park out front.

Excellent work, though you may want to consider desaturating your colours a little bit. Try -20% as the colours seem a little on the bright side and I found that desaturating my models helped them blend into the game so much better.

Or feel free to ignore me because if you're happy with them as is, that's all that matters. *;)

These cute Sims are just divine. Do they look the same in the game? If so ... and you don't publish it ........ read my thoughts ....*;)
On the other hand, you can also send them to me exclusively ... then you can forget about my bad thoughts ......*

I wish I could have this right now, as I'm working on a particularly sleazy part of a town, and this would fit the bill handsomely.

Police National added to the game. I think it fits in well with the other "foreign buildings". I made a separate gate entrance that I can equip with other cars if necessary. It also fits well between two buildings.

Decided to take a run at "growable" flora for my STEAM project. I ran a test by creating four different versions of a Scots pine tree using models from CP's vol 2 pack. The trees "grow" by cycling different prop packs in and out of the plugins folder. This way, as the lots evolve from era to era (i.e., 1875 > 1900 > 1925, etc. etc. etc.) the flora will grow along with the lots (and occasionally get cut down to make room for new features).

Sorry for the lack of contrast between the trees and grass textures. The smaller versions of the trees are there, I swear.

A prop of the building will be included in the download. (I actually do this for most of my stuff)

That should make it easier for you to play around with in the lot editor.

Not to worry. This should be released soon- at the latest Monday.

Small stairs for the sims and the Montmartre feel.

With advertising pillar, kiosk and pissoire-homme. 1x1 overhanging.

One of those little details that you can hardly see in the buildings. But they are there........*;)

If you have any advice/best practices regarding FA lots and overhanging props, hit back with a reply! I'd love to do a whole series of these (provided I can get this on a lot lol)

It loooks awesome!

So after discovering a much faster way to apply the Cascadia tree controller to tiles, I figured it might be nice to see what the controller looks like applied to an entire region.

jRJReCn.png

Only about 50% of my way through, and it's not a particularly large map (3.5 x 3.5 large tiles, if I counted right), but as usual, I'm blown away by what the controller can accomplish.

Try the ARDEN tree controller, in particular the Inland version (one version out of five), which is amazing for areas of medium to high elevation!
