We seem to have lost the thread post counts from the forum pages.

They are MIA, but oddly enough, show up on the iPhone.

I miss my Manage My Journals page... I am too lazy to scroll down to find mine... :D

You mean the one that lists your CJ's in the CJ section? It's the "Manage City Journals" button when you click on your username on the black bar on the top. Bottom left option on the pretty drop down menu. :D At least I think that's what you're talking about... :P

Quite disappointing, but I still cannot browse the site with IE8; it was working fine before, and the obsession of certain developers against IE is inexplicable to me. IE is still one of the most popular browsers, and definitely the most popular one among PC users, so ignoring them and asking to download and install FF is just a disgrace. I guess it wouldn't be too much to change certain style sheets or objects that cause the problems. Anyways.

I would like to report a very annoying feature, and I used Chrome for this. The popup windows for the login dialog, as well as for notifications (PMs, status updates and the like) are displayed at the bottom of what would be a high-resolution screen; I guess 1080 vertical (or maybe 1200?) is the minimum. But not all users have such screens. eg consider users browsing the site from a Netbook. The lower part of the above dialogs is not shown (in the case of the login dialog it contains the password edit-box and the buttons) and to make things worse, these popups are not movable. Really frustrating, and it renders several operations unusable. I think it wouldn't be very hard to move these popups higher. Please fix these asap.

As a final note, it is again disappointing that despite the effort made, and while the last versions include many flashy new features, they are mostly aesthetics, and the site still lacks some few basic features that would make it more functional. Examples:

- Still no "Show new replies to my posts" operation.

- In the STEX, there is nothing to help the uploader. For example, there is no "Show my Uploads" operation (preferably sorted by any parameter). You have to find and open one of your uploads and click on the Show more of this Author link. And most importantly, there is no "Show Last Comments to my Uploads" operation either. Users post their comments and expect a replies, but they don't know that you have no means of viewing their comments!!! I think this a very essential feature, and it was available in earlier versions, but at some point it was unfortunately dropped and never brought back.

Now if the above features are somehow available, but "hidden" god knows where, please let me know. Sorry, it's not my fault though, it's about the site design.

I can't tell for sure, but it seems that the default font size has decreased since my last visit a week ago.

If so, I would like to petition that the default size be increased back. My eyesight isn't very good, and the current size kind of strains my eyes. If there is a way to change the font size using the user settings, that would be great as well.

I guess I could just use the zoom function of my browser, but that occasionally seems to break the site design, making everything look bad and out of place. :(

(Font size seems small on IE9, FF13, Chrome, Safari, and Opera. )

In FF (and I think that IE9 too) you can change the default font size. I don't know if it helps you, but you can always zoom in if you have trouble reading.

Continuing on with the font size:

As I wrote my comment on this CJ, I put a size 8 bbcode in the comment. It turned into a size 72 D:

The "Manage your Journal" menu is back, sorry about that. If there's anything else missing, let me know.

Working on the download views, this appears to be a bug in the system, the views are recording, just not showing, should be fixed soon.

Also, IE8 and 9 should be behaving correctly again. Please force-refresh and clear browser caches.

Thanks! BTW, why do you think the post count in my Manage My Journals is +11 on the count on the main page when viewed in table form?

I'm posting here the first time so sorry if this question/ issue already exists.

I'm just wondering if it is normal that you are only ably to find 10000 search result when searching for a key word (e.g. buiilding)

Does anyone here have the Authentication Failed Error in chat. It just popped up. Thanks!

That may happen sometimes. Just try reload St or the Chat and it should work

Just got back from holiday and I note that there are several fix ups, very nice.

However, the "Pinned" cartouche is now laying on top of the left end of the topic title on my system.

Browser is Firefox 14.0.1 running on Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (GNU/Linux 3.2.0-27-generic x86_64)

This is a nuisance, and a fix or advice would be appreciated.

Something that's happened to me a lot lately when digging through the STEX:

Utennavn.jpg

....and when trying to scroll:

Utennavn2.jpg

only seen this in the depts of the exchange (e.g. around page 450 and backwards)

EDIT: Don't know if this is a bug or some error on my side but;

When I made I made sure to insert a bulleted list for the steps explaine. But when I hit the "post" button, it reverted to just text and no list. (it still shows as a list in editor though)

Neither numbered nor bulleted lists work properly in the formatted editor.

The end of the BAT tutorial (part 1, page 4), at is cut off, and was never fixed. Does anyone have the missing parts? I used to, but the file was corrupted.

Archive.org doesn't have it because Simtrop was blocked with robots.txt.

Additionally, the SC3000.com and SC4Ever.com sites are still down, with no word on repairing them or not.

Unfortunately, I'm starting to get the impression, that coupled with this, the missing Omnibus articles, and the missing number of posts in forum views, Simtropolis is falling apart in the maintenance department. I do hope I'm wrong, but it would seem that way. :( :( :(

And the "Pinned" cartouche is still overlaying the titles in the list of contents. Firefox 15.0.1 Ubuntu Canonical 1.0

The reputation section of profiles no longer seems to be working. It says there is "no content to displayed." Latest version of Chrome on Windows 7.

I found the missing Omnibus article I was missing, but only via Google. It's not showing up in the list.

I can no longer see who 'liked' my posts or likes for other posts.

Normally when reputation is given you can hover over the number to see who gave it. Not possible now. Was this removed by accident or for privacy issues?
