Llama Herders 2016

The llamas had been missing for a long time, some weren't even sure they would ever return. Then, one day reports started coming in of llama sightings. Word spread quickly and soon there were llamas bounding down every street and alleyway in Simtropolis. All it took was an extraordinary group who worked day and night to wrangle all the llamas back into their pen. The second great trixie migration they called it!

Our marvellous leader has provided with another glorious year. He has continued to steer the ship, thwarting bugs and internet goblins, charting a safe course through the depths of the internet. Where will the S.S. Simtropolis take us next? No one knows, as long as Dirk is at the helm I know we'll be in for smooth sailing.

Whether across the country or just around the block, these guys took the time to visit Maxis to get the latest scoop and kept us up-to-date on the new SimCity. Plus they had a little fun at the same time.

With ST's 10th birthday, the guy who started it all deserves this award. Through all the updates and crashes, Dirk has kept this site alive and well.

This award is for the person who acts as the rudder that steers the ship. Whether moving in the public eye, or behind the scenes, his hand is always on the tiller keeping the site at optimum performance.

Time and time again, our benevolent Dirktator has ensured that Simtropolis runs smoothly, adding new features, upgrading the software, and fixing bugs. He has been there for us through it all, working hard to ensure that the community remains a fun place for all. We may not see him as much as in the days of old, but when he makes a public appearance, such as at Maxis, we ALL rush to go see. Thanks for all you do, Dirk!
