My plugin load is not that big, only around 410Mb give or take like 5mb... I think I'm just gonna start a new city, maybe even start a city journal... I thank you all for all your help though, Ill keep an eye for a returning problem. I hope we can find a way to fix this problem. -

Well that stinks... You'd think that 2gb of memory and 4096Mb VM would be enough, oh well... I guess I have to tear down the city then... Thanks for the help! -

Well my computer specs are: -Intel Pentium D 2.8Ghz ES -2Gb Patriot DDR2 RAM -ATI Radeon X850 XT Video Card w/256MB memory - The card runs a Catalyst 5.8 driver, version 8.162.0.0 -153GB Hardrive Even though I use a dual core chip, I set the affinity to CPU0 I also have my virtual memory set at 4096MB and using Windows XP which is completely up to date. I ran DXDIAG and it didnt find any problems. One thing of that might be of notice is I accidentally updated zonealarm (firewall) and it conflicted badly with my virus scan, so i had to remove zonealarm via safemode. I now use the windows firewall. I dont know if that could be why... especially considering my problem only affects one city. -
I checked out the forums and I didnt find anything that could help I just got this interesting little bug today... All of a sudden, random props on a wide scale, disappeared. Here is the quirky part, it only applies to one city, which is unfortunately my main city. If I bulldoze the buildings and replop them, the items reappear like normal. I have a few pics of the problem: As you can see in the first pick, not all the objects dissapear, and it affects custom objects as well as maxis objects (the park). All of my devoloped coastlines made up of marrast embankments as well as pegasus sea walls have dissapeared. I havent installed anything new recently and my game has been up to date for a while. All my settings are on high, and I've tried setting it to low then high again, to no avail. I have also tried restarting the game as well as the computer many times. Ive tried searching the forums but they mostly deal with people with low settings, and I know thats not the case. I am getting really fustrated because I really dont know what to do. I dont want to restart the city but I also dont want to bulldoze everything and re-plop it.

I'm trying to get the game to crash w/o the plugins, but it seems to be taking a while. It's kinda funny that it won't crash when I want it to... I apologise if this has been asked already, but i searched and I could not find the answer to my problem. I recently built myself a new computer with: -Intel Pentium D 2.8Ghz ES -2Gb Patriot DDR2 RAM -ATI Radeon X850 XT Video Card w/256MB memory -153GB Hardrive I also have my virtual memory set at 4096MB and using Windows XP which is completely up to date. I must say that running my old computer, and considering the kind of budget I was willing to spend, this is my dream computer. When I run SimCity 4 Deluxe, it runs great, much better than my old computer. The problem is though, that my computer will crash randomly to the desktop. It could be 15 minutes, or 2 hours, but ultimately, it will crash to the desktop. I never get any errors shown, only a crash to the desktop. It crashes regardless of whether there are plugins or not. My game is also completely up to date. I do not beleive that the fact that my CPU is an Engineering Sample plays into factor (My father works at Intel and gave the chip to me). All my other games (The Sims 2, Age of Empires 3, and believe it or not, SimGolf) play perfectly. Does anybody else have this problem? I didn't have this problem on my old computer, and it is starting to drive me crazy!

Sorry for the lack of updates. I wouldn't call it a true RLS as I have been working on my bats, however at a reduced pace. The reason for my slow progress is I'm back at school and I needed time to get settled. However since my daily schedule has just about balanced out I should be able to resume at full speed on Saturday. I'm terribly sorry for not telling you and for the inconvenience (hmm.. does that word really work in this situation?) I may have caused. I will post an update either later today or tomorrow (depends on how long it will take do homework).

Heres an update. I modeled the roof entrance of the Starker Tower Apts. In addition I started modeling some of the details as well as starting texturing. align=baseline> align=baseline> The wall spot on the base is where the ground junk will go and the hole will eventually be the entrance to an underground garage. I still need to texture the rest of the building as well as tweak existing textures. Comments, suggestions and questions welcome!
