No. I'd say it is possible. If you use SC4Reader tool you can play & export UDI sounds. They're referenced in Exemplars & possibly also script file. They're classed as AB files & are similar to Need for Speed audio files. For example; TGI; 0x00000000,0x8A5971C5,0x0BBCEA12 is UDI sound file. Referenced in 0x6534284A,0x096E6739,0x108C0000 0x6534284A,0x096E6739,0x10640000 And maybe elsewhere. 0x00000000,0x8A5971C5,0x6B955C37 is UDI related but it's not fully deciphered. SC4 Devotion Outage for Server Move (Back Now - 7 June 2016)
Tropod replied to Tarkus's topic in Community Goings-on
A few months back I upgraded my modem/router at home & set up a home network with many connected devices. What was suppose to take an hour ended up taking several due to hitting technical issues, so I'm not surprised that SC4D's move may take longer. Can't always help the unexpected.- 70 Replies

v1.5.5 Object Viewer added for: FSHs, Menu Icons, S3Ds, Cursors, Texts. Several memory leaks fixed. This will only load relevant items from both Install & Plugins folders based on reader options. ie It won't load anything from a loaded file. Access via Tools -> Object Viewing FSH viewing in various options. Be aware DirID/Size viewing may take several minutes to load depending on number of fsh's. Be aware S3Ds may be PC intensive when scrolling.

v1.5.4 SC4Reader Only bug fixes for this release resulting from updating to 64bit, some of which are for; -Data searching. -Property searching. -S3D. -GUI display. -RUL tile viewer. -Virtual *dat to file conversion (just make sure not to use on things like NAM). A *.temp file will now be used to faciliate for saving.

1.5.3 update info; S3D several new functions, improvements & look - big shout out & credit to "rivit" for his significant contribution around this. Image horizonal/vertical flip. Currently does not save flip. 64bit version released. Project source code significantly updated/adjusted due to 64bit update. v153 32bit - this is existing version & more stable. v153 64bit - 64bit version can load/save much larger files however may have unknown/undiscovered issues/bugs. Please post if you encounter any. Users may notice a significant jump in file size. This is largely due to 3rd party & overall project update.

Update v152 RULs->S3D: S3Ds should now be displayed as per RUL rotation & flip (excluding bridge RULs). Text files Search/load TGI & IID by FileType added. For example INI networks -> Bridge Exemplars & Tile Verifiers. This works by highlighting text & right mouse click & search. Note IID by FileType function will return first IID found. Effects files; Search/load IID by FileType added. Only works for certain tabs & columns. TGI Mass Edit bug fix. Region View Export Stats function added. Export TGI info function added. Can be found in standard exporting functions. Last 2 items will export data to a single text file & can be easily copied/pasted/imported into excel.

Update v151 Options dialog exit confirmation added. Main dialog maximise display issue fix. Open/Save dialogs foreground fix.

size of the lots is a significant factor. case in point: I have a ~200K city in which the majority of RES zones is only 1x1. So when I go to do anything network/route/etc related, well lets just say game doesn't like it compared to a city of same size that's not built like this.

To be honest, not sure about Macs. I should probably buy 1 one day, does an iphone count . anyway..... There are several places the game will legitimately play plugins (ie *dats) from & there is more than 1 "Plugins" folder. There is a loading order etc & a thread on it somewhere. If you're going to be the only user though, if you're using 'a' plugins folder it doesn't matter a great deal though others will say otherwise. Following also have some interesting info for plugins folder locations; https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/index.php?topic=16799.0

Problem with biggest region when ported over to new computer
Tropod replied to hiddentemple's topic in SC4 Bugs & Technical Issues
As rsc204 has said above, the folder has duplicate files. I've loaded this as a Region & as you can see (below), images overlap but also there are duplicate City GUIDs. So I'm not surprised the game has issues when you go to load the region. Unless you sift through these files manually, the game will most likely permanently screw up your region. Make sure you keep backup. -
Can you please post your PC specs & also screenshot of the error? Thanks :). EDIT: if you're getting a crash report if you could save & upload that it will help me better pinpoint the problem. cheers

*I think from memory*..... want to look at the DataView Exemplar files, specifically TGI 0x6534284a, 0x690f693f, 0x4a0b6807 for power & maybe property 0x4A0B47E9. But often, some things like this are a combination of multiple properties not just one on its own ie other properties also have influence.

How I check what I changed on an examplar?
Tropod replied to OrSpeeder's topic in SC4 Modding - Open Discussion
On either ilives Reader or SC4Reader both tools have a compare *.dat option. Simply load both files (old & new) to compare. In saying this they only compare on hex by hex basis, so not the most user-friendly way to compare. Probably just easier to load both side by side & compare bit by bit yourself .
