Hey guyz i got the Microwave Powerplant workin but i was wondering y the night lights werent working durring the night or is that a separate download????


Also i have a request (i no this is in the rong thread but srry got the dl from here, or should i just make the request in the other forum?) I was wondering if it is possible to make it more realistic by making the powerplant excessible later in the game like for the solar plant you need 30,000 people b4 you can create it, maybe for the Microwave Powerplant you need to have like Less then hydrogen plants requirements but more then nuclear powerplants.

Anyways, I've been working on a LOT of projects lately, but here's all I have completely modded (a good promo pic for SOMY, I'd say)  

 

 

 

Left-to-right: Microwave Rectenna Plant, Regional Medical HQ, Vertical Mall, SOMY Corporate Vats, Kannon Female Superstatue, Takadai-Yamadera Temple, the Skymall Complex, Supersized Mayor Statue, HTIN Hitech Headquarters, and the Gyoko Harbor and Marina.

 

Also, the new lots are great ... I think most of the things from these Japanese sites are better than a lot of the stuff here on Simtropolis! 

Now I am working on a couple LUA scripts for the big skyscrapers, so they are actually conditional rewards and have some prerequisites ...

They each are very expensive and break a lot of demand caps.  I'm thinking of making a couple custom UIs as well ...

Anyway, i just wanted to say that the Japanese BAT's i've seen are incredible thanks for all your posts. Looks like i'm going to have to build a new city.

Next is a yellow house by Daiku. There are no statistics mentioned for it. The download link is here .

 

What's up with the Simtropolis lot exchange? Every lot I click on from the main page gives me a zip, zilch, nada no such lot message!

anyhow, as for your problem with the ST xchange, can't say i've had the same problem. unfortunately, i'm not on my SimCity 4 computer, so I didn't download anything, but i did get as far as the download popup message. could have been a hick-up in the system, or a busy time message?

The STEX was giving me the screen with the box saying zilch, zip, nada no such lot for lots that were linked on the main page of Simtropolis. The STEX seems to be working now, but the lot I was after seems to have been deleted.

 

Alkaola, I found the lot you wanted, and several more new lots as well. Go here , and then go to the landmarks page. Some of the lots have English versions for download, while others have only Japanese ones that you may have to rename on your own. There are some instructions in English on those pages.

Here is a new passenger train station designed to look like a streetcar station.

The railroad intersection appears to be an extra lot in this set. It was made to allow trains to turn in 90 degree angles, as shown above in the bottom right.

There is also a bus stop lot with a lane for the bus to pull over to.

I need feedback on the thing's capacity, though.  How much higher than that should it be?  (It's not going any lower, that's certain).

Thanks for your reply, but it's not the one I'm after: Equinox claims she has translated the UI's for these fine lots - I would like to lay my hands on these!

Okay ... not entirely sure if this is okay, but I don't see why not ... You need to have the model and descriptor files for SOMY's power plant.  Delete the SC4LOT file and replace it with this one.  Suggestions are welcome, and if this for some reason isn't okay, then just contact me and I will take it down.

Download the UP10x10_Micro...file and place it in your plugins folder.  Ignore the other zip files there, unless perchance you want a rather large collection of custom growables (about 160 MB). 

 

Also, the ExtraTransportationTransitions.zip file is english versions of the transition lots (subway<>rail and el-train<>rail, and monorail<>el-train).  There are no dependancies for that set.  I will pull down the model files later so that the original designers get more credit that way.  Remember, SOMY's site is http://somy.gozaru.jp/ for the Microwave plant models and such.

 

 

EDIT: hey, I'm a he, not a she ... just obsessed with DOA. 

 

Also, Armandeus, is there any way you could see if SOMY is okay with me releasing just the lot files for some of his stuff like this?

And finally, check the link in the bottom of my sig if you want to see my progress with replacing the default game UI files with more informative ones.

Oh yeah, and a warning: if you somehow let this thing get overused, burn it in a fire, and/or let it run real low on funding ... the explosion is worse than a nuke plant's (although I haven't tested that part yet).    A misfired beam of incredibly high-energy particles tends to do some major damage.    UV radiation goes everywhere!
