YES! YES! YES! OH YES!

When I saw a new post in your thread, I thought "meh, another stupid bump". Then I saw it was you, and I immediately thought "oh boy, this could either be very disappointing or very good". But it's Singer Building, and that means it's as good as it can possibly get. ^_^ I am SO looking forward to downloading this gem.

Amazing Heblem. Just when we thought it's long gone, you revive the SInger building!

However, I'm not sure if you knew this detail, but the building was stripped of its Beaux-Arts ornaments at some point. Therefore, since you're recreating it, I'd like to see them re-done and to see this building in its full glory. Please consider adding these details. Here are some reference pics:

Also consider that it was w2w on two sides, so it's basically a corner building.

Great job and looking forward to seeing more!

Vlasky, thank you for the new reference pictures! didn't saw those before except for the last one...

Basically I have three versions to decide:

    (1) The original pre 1950's? version, which includes all those details as you mention, which im not sure the color of the building since all those pictures are black and white, however I think the windows frameworks were wooden.

In some point between 1950-1960, there was a major renovation of the building.

    (2) The renovated building in 1960's (the reference pictures im basing off), which gives me the actual color of the building, the windows frameworks were replaced by a different "green" material, but it has less details than the pre-1950 version. Here my main reference picture (among other low quality pictures):

Another option would make a mix between both:

    (3) A fictional one with the details of pre-1950's but the colors of the renovated one... gotta decide...

First of all thank you for being so accepting about adding old details on it. Second, I would go with the third option, because I strongly believe it would look nice and that it must have been somewhat similar color scheme before 50s like after. The details might have looked darker because of that NY soot that we see on the rock and ESB in first color pics after WW II.

Either way it's impressive and greatly appreciated.

EDIT: I keep forgetting, Click on the images for the full size. Some of them are quite big and useful.

What sort of roundabout in-game would even fit the Time Warner Center? I always figured that was the biggest obstacle to a recreation.

It always feels so great to see a legend is back!

About the Columbus Circle, it has a diameter of around 130 meters, this is roughly a 8x8 lot. Maybe a transit-enabled Columbus Circle lot, with the Time Warner Center BAT standing on it would do the job with some Maxis texturing, but I'm afraid that transit-enabling and pathing this monster could be really tough.

I'm really looking forward to seeing the Singer building. This was one of the projects I was sad about that it got abandoned, so I'm happy it seems to get a second chance. Thanks!
