At the moment not starting my wife's visa application sooner.  Long term, nothing, really.  I like who've I've become and where I'm going.

What were some highlights of the last week for you?

Job Interview + Helping my dad out at some random small town outside of Winnipeg.

When was the last time you've been at a pool? Could you swim well?

Not since last summer. I can swim but I don't because since I got contacts my eyes are super sensitive to chlorine (and lots of other stuff) so it is not fun anymore. I will go in up to a point but not all the way in the water to avoid unpleasantness.

What's your idea of a fun weekend?

I would like to ask him who he is.

Who is Dirk?

It won't work because it's an undefined number. This link will explain it better than I can for the reasoning behind it.

Are you looking forward to summer (winter if you're south of the equator)?

Do you have glasses/contact lenses?

I did as a child but not having worn them for some years, my "better" eye improved back to 20 and the "weak" eye stayed right where it was. Regeneration does occur though most people think it is just sci-fi. Your mouth does it the fastest.

Which was the largest stadium you have been to?

I thought about this, and am still thinking about it because though I've thought about this, I still have more thinking to do as to stop thinking about it would mean not to think.

Are those sports competitions? Australian Football League maybe?

Is football (soccer) very popular in your country?

Not so much, but it is gaining popularity.

What was/is your main sport that you played in school.

Nope. The sports are one of the few things I don't like about the US. I don't know if handball was invented there, but I only like a few sports, which are football (the soccer one), pingpong and tennis.

Which of the sports above do you like best?

I have not.

Have you ever been to New York City?

Well I guess it depends on what you mean by biggest, I guess New York.

What is hockey thought of in your area? (what is the general opinion?) I'm referring to Ice Hockey but Roller and Field may hold higher ground.

@ Ultimate727, I highly doubt Handball is an American invention; it has very little to no presence here. I assume you mean the sport played with a small handheld "soccer" type ball played on a court with a large net defended by a goalie. If you ask your average American what handball is they will give you one of two replies: 1. A game played with a blue rubber racket ball, same type of game as racket ball, played against a wall, except a closed fist is used in place of a racket.  2. A game played by school kids where a ball with bounce (usually tennis or racket ball) is thrown against a wall, others playing (varied amounts up to 8players) attempt to catch the ball on its way back from the wall. If they fail to catch the ball, and it touches them, they must immediately run to the wall, touch it and run back to the throw line, about 10ft or 3 meters from the wall. The other players are trying to hit you with the ball before you make it back to the line. Most times the throw is made with an attempt to cause some minor pain. (No head shots!) The slang term around here for it is getting pegged or pegging someone.

I thought about this, and am still thinking about it because though I've thought about this, I still have more thinking to do as to stop thinking about it would mean not to think.

Well, I live in Southeast Asia, sadly it doesn't get so much attention.

What are your thoughts on the Battle of Sekigahara?

Thanks to the taiga drama and a few kabuki shows starring pop idol Tackey, I am a fan of the heavily romanticized version of Minamoto no Yoshitsune.  I'm sure the actual late-Heian historical figure was no where near as naïve and bishounen as the legendary Genji character, but he still makes for a fascinating epic tragic hero.  I will admit, I was actually rooting for Taira no Kiyomori, who at least had a better grasp of realpolitiks and centralized government, but who also put into motion his Heike clan's own equally melodramatic tragedy by sparing the infant Yoshitsune.  Of course, both get to also strut in fully grandiose ō-yoroi armor.

Gackt as Uesugi Kenshin is also shockingly entertaining.  I don't have a particular interest in Kenshin or even Gackt, but I will admit that when they cast Gackt in the role for the taiga, he blew all other charismatic Sengoku warlord portrayals out of the water and turned a bushi drama with mediocre mid-season ratings into a surprise hit among Japanese middle-aged housewives.  Still, I root not for the mesmerizingly unpredictable Kenshin or even the stolid Takeda, but for Imagawa Yoshimoto, because I like kookily aristocratic high-painted eyebrows and melodramatically doomed superior armies.

What are your favorite legendary epics?

Don't have one, I guess.

Do you read science fiction?  If so, do you have a favorite author?

Tragedy, I believe everything ends tragically and happy endings is nothing but a construct of the mind. Personally, all the stories I have written either ends tragically or have a melancholic tone.

Have you nominated for the annual Trixies?

I have not.

Do you prefer the Dr Who from the 70's and 80's or the Dr Who from today.

Surprise! I don't have a cellphone. Why I don't have a cellphone? It's so worth it when you have more time to appreciate the surroundings.

What was your favourite prank? :P
