Don't really like pranks.  I'm an engineer so I don't like suprises.

Would you say your personality is neat and orderly or slightly chaotic.

So many, so little time,  Need to finish learning how to write in Portuguese, need to finish the French lessons I never got through. Would like to have a better grasp of Italian, and am curious to learn Japanese but I have trouble yelling the ending at people. A friend started teaching me, his is a great story. Born in Peru to a Japanese father and Peruvian mother, he learned both Spanish and Japanese, came to the USA at 18 so learned English, married a Polish woman and learned that language as well. He can cook meals from each of the countries, yet most people will look at him and think ohh he's just a construction worker...

Have you ever slept in a tent? Where and why?

I thought about this, and am still thinking about it because though I've thought about this, I still have more thinking to do as to stop thinking about it would mean not to think.

Yes, lots of times.  Usually camping or backpacking.

What is the highest mountain you have climbed?

Could they be? Yes. Should they be? Perhaps. Most of the time, are they? Not really. Being good at sports does not make you a good person worthy of emulation. And many elite athletes have been given a level of immunity for their conduct us mere mortals can never enjoy.

Your thoughts on parents pushing their children to become elite athletes above anything else?

They need to understand the goals of the kids, not on what the parents want. I found that the hard way, and I am fixing it right now.

According to Wikipedia:

That is function word used in the English language for several grammatical purposes.

These include:

In the first two uses the word is usually pronounced weakly, as /ðət/, whereas in the other uses it is pronounced /ðæt/.

In the Old English language that was spelled þæt. It was also abbreviated as a letter Thorn, þ, with the ascender crossed,  ( OE_thaet.png ). In Middle English the letter Ash, æ, was replaced with the letter a, so that that was spelled þat, or sometimes þet. The ascender of the þ was reduced (making it similar to the Old English letter Wynnƿ), which necessitated writing a small t above the letter to abbreviate the word that ( ME_that.png ). In later Middle English and Early Modern English the þ evolved into a y shape, so that the word was spelled yat (although the spelling with a th replacing the þ was starting to become more popular) and the abbreviation for that was a y with a small t above it ( 8px-EME_that.svg.png ). This abbreviation can still be seen in reprints of the 1611 edition of the King James Version of the Bible in places such as 2 Corinthians 13:7.

That is often omitted when used to introduce a subordinate clause—"He told me that it is a good read." could just as easily be "He told me it is a good read." Historically, "that" usually followed a comma: "He told me, that it is a good read." Middle Modern English grammarian Joseph Robertson recommended in On Punctuation that a comma be used with a conjunction. However, if the subordinate, conjunctional ellipsenull complement, or syntactic pleonasm of "that" is punctuated with a comma, then, in the English grammar, stylistically speaking, it is a comma splice, especially in formal writing. Instead, a semicolon should be used to be grammatically correct: He told me; it is a good read. In grammar, the usage of "that" constitutes a that-clause while its absence constitutes a bare clause.

I thought about this, and am still thinking about it because though I've thought about this, I still have more thinking to do as to stop thinking about it would mean not to think.

What's your favorite Internet browser?

"If you try to please everybody, you often times end up pleasing nobody, especially yourself. I find that to be a "wait and see" matter, as well as an "I wonder how many bugs can be found and squashed within a decent amount of time" and "I'm gonna need to acclimate to the new layout" matter. Other than that, I can't say for sure.

This reply could be long I have many different thoughts of sports in general and specific sports, and they are just starting up the site so I'll say, I love hockey.

How many times did you check on the site before it was back up?

I thought about this, and am still thinking about it because though I've thought about this, I still have more thinking to do as to stop thinking about it would mean not to think.

Probably about 5.  I was away in Mexico for most of the time, so it would have been more if I had been home.

Have you ever been to Mexico?

I have, during an art lesson in fourth grade. It was a giant stick figure with a machine gun fighting of hoards of tiny enemy tanks. I was very pleased indeed.
