Hey, NMUSpidey, what have you been working on these days?

 

Oh, what a great question, let's see.  Well, I've gotten close to completing my novel series completely, with one novel about three chapters and a stronger beginning away from good enough to shop around, and a second one lined up at about 50% finished.  Then there's my continuation of Penelope's story from The Sensational Six, but the beginning has been vexing me, always hitting the wrong notes, but I think I'm getting there.

The Detroit Tigers.  Miguel Cabrera is the greatest hitter of this generation, his stats are on par with Hank Aaron and Willie Mays.  That's amazing- wait, soccer?  Uh, Team USA, I guess?  I don't watch soccer and am thankfully outside of Japan where I'm sure they're talking about it right now.

What's your favorite sport?  Why?  If you don't like sports, please explain.

So far I'm waiting for sequels of 6 different books. So I guess the most actual things I read are some scientific works which I found on science direct.

I prefer them both, depends on the season actually. Right now, with temperatures reaching 28-30C, I would rather have Iced Coffee, but on -30 Temperatures, It's hot coffee for me.

When was the last time you have ridden a taxi?

Last week. Taxis in the Philippines are quite cheaper compared to the more developed countries, thus it's quite affordable.

Considering you have at least once in your life skipped class, why?

I don't think I ever have. I've had to miss classes for dentist appointments and stuff a few times, but that's it.

I'll be making two trips northward into Michigan in the coming weeks.  First is to distract my kids while their mom is back in Japan getting her visa sorted out, and the second is farther up to secure an apartment in the UP after she comes back.  Then we'll move up there, but that's not really a vacation anymore, is it?

 

What are your plans for the 4th?

My kids are coming home after a week with Grandpa and Grandma, so we will each pizza and shoot off some fire works...pretty much low key.

Do you enjoy shooting off fireworks, or would you rather sit and watch them?
